That said, I have no idea what they are thinking in trying to make a movie out of it. I can't think of a single reason I'd want to see this movie. With any luck the whole movie will just be sims dying from being burned, drowned, electrocuted, starved, scared, attacked by flies, hit with satellites, hit with fireballs, hit by lightning, hit by hail, hit by bags of falling money, overheating, freezing, running with scissors until they collapse, or dying from disease. That said, it will probably be a movie about real life people who interact with the game and somehow foster some connection or living A.I. with the characters in the game, becoming romantically involved ard or obsessed with the mumbling little figures on their screens. It'll be a poor mans, A Scanner Darkly. ...then Kevin Arnold's autistic little f*cktard brother will show up and win the video game tournament insuring another 1000 years of peace and viable trade agreements with the Intergalactic Wrestling Federation. He escapes from the cops in a Mustang GT and jumps over a cliff into Nevada. He is caught by LVPD and is sentenced to 23 yrs in prison. He then escapes prison with a drug dealer named Darrien by gnawing on the bars of his window. They steal a car near Ceasar's and die in a grand finale crash into a gasolene semi, making an explosion large enough to char the hair of an Elvis impersonater, who runs wildly through a crowd of people, stumbles into a curtain in a theater, and catches the city on fire; this fire spreads to all the gas tanks and semis, causing Las Vegas to explode entirely. Shrapnel from the explosion fly to Area 51 and blow up all the scientists, Aliens, Spaceships, and experimental jet fighters. I want to see that in a Sims 2 graphics version. I use to be obsessed with the Sims and play it 24/7 and I don't mind playing it from time to time but how are the going to make a movie out of it? Besides they speak in a totally different language. Anyways I will probably go see it even if I know it will be sh*t. I just don't see how they will do it though, it's going to be interesting.
