xtal256
Hi. I have always wanted to create custom themes/skins for WindowsXP and i recently downloaded WindowBlinds to do just that. I decided to delete it but instead want to know how to actually apply a skin (theme) to a single application. WindowBlinds can do it but i'm not sure how and i don't like the idea of a program messing around with my system files. I thought that i could create a file (.theme or .msstyle ?) and apply it. Does anyone know how to or more importantly where i could find how to do it. thanx

xtal256
lol. Unless you have a 1 trillion gigabyte hard drive, i don't think that's possible
K^2
Most of the internet is just junk, though. If you take only text available on internet, throw out stuff that is completely incoherent, keep only basic formatting/linking HTML, and compress what you got, I think it would fit on a DVD. At any rate, a descent chunk of it would. Maybe we should pitch this idea to Google. I'm sure they already have a copy of virtually all HTML out there cached. Edit: I should try putting together a little spider to back up this forum and see what comes out of it. I have a feeling that forums and blogs will be the biggest fraction of text-content on the nets. If I can manage to back up this whole forum and compress it to a manageable size, then the Internet-on-a-disk should be doable. xtal256
I'm sure they already have a copy of virtually all HTML out there cached. That's true. They store terabytes of data in there caches and searches billions on just a few seconds it's probably a sizable chunk of the internet they have there. btw, please stick to the topic. I was asking about skinning windows (themes).
