I_Pfreely
I recently switched my CPU speed to 333 mhz for faster loading time, then VCS stopped working. Is it me or does my game just dosent run at the speed? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/279280-333-mhz/ Share on other sites
vettefan88
did you install any .prx's or anything? or change any other settings along with raising the cpu speed? I run my game at 333mhz perffectly fine, so I don't see how that can be what's stopping it from running for you. I_Pfreely
Ahhh, I figured it out, if your UMD is still in your PSP after you exit the menu and changed the cpu speed it wont load, you have to reload the UMD and manually start it from XMB menu, and should I only turn UMD speed to 33mhz, or should i change Xmb menu to 333mhz too for a faster game. OGbanana
ONLY turn the "UMD/ISO Speed" to 333mhz. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/279280-333-mhz/#findComment-4257997 Share on other sites
Blackadder.
Yep, leave the XMB speed at default, or reduce it to 133 (If you can) It still runs the same, but it uses less battery power Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/279280-333-mhz/#findComment-4259327 Share on other sites

ms.cooldude
Go blow something up, it is much smoother around explosions and such (Compared to 222) Is 222 the origonal umd and xmd speed?
