Question 'bout territory

I recently started GTASA again, and I'm close to the mission Doberman (which if I remember makes all the territory appear).

 

A question, if I take over ALL turf before the first set of LS missions end, does that mean all the territories will still belong to Grove Street when CJ returns to LS later in the game and the coloured territories reappear again?

No, Balla mofos take almost all turfs if I remember...

There's no way to keep the territories once you move on to the second island, after The Green Saber mission. Either way, if you painstakingly go through and get them all or not, you still have to do it later on in the game. So, as far as I know, there is no way to keep them. So unless you need to money from it, or want to build up your respect level, there’s really no reason to bother with it the first time around. Although, I started another game recently and actually did go through and take them all over, just for the sake of being able to travel around LS without getting shot at every damn minute.
