Can anyone help me find the code that causes the cops to chase after the criminals in the cars? Like if one of the peds carjack someone and drive off, if they pass a cop, the cops chase after them...I want to find that code so I can incorporate that into the vigilante mission, that way I can create cop assistance with the vigilante mod. Someone made a mod like that for GTA 3 and it was badass...I want to do something similar like that for SA.

it can be difficult to find, as the chances are high, that it does not exist. whenever you are after development of such a code feel free to uncover a bit of your level of knowledge for SA scripting. this way we know how complex the answer should be, and we can spare lots of time.

I'm pretty green at scripting itself. I've modded the script (vigilate missions only) a bit for my own personal use..Which mostly all has been trial and error...I add it in and test it, and if it doesn't work, I edit it until it does. Fairly simple modding though...Removing wanted levels during the cop vigilante mission, removing the time limits, just to make it more interesting.

 

I've tried before finding the code where the cops chase the criminals and I haven't been able to find it. If I can, I can play around with it in the vigilante mission myself and see if I can get it to work. If anyone else wants to try to make a mod out of it, be my guest..I don't publish the mods that I make.
