Mag-got
Hell yeah there is 3DS Max ZModeler 1 or 2 Blender 3D gmax 3DS Max costs about 1000$ I think, if not 3000$, haven't really looked at it. It's propably the best program for modding and all sorts of 3D stuff. ZModeler 1 is free, but not as good as 2 but ZModeler 2's importer costs about 30$, you know, to import models so you can make the right scales and put the models in right places. Blender 3D is completely free but the import and export script website is down I believe, or doesn't work for me. Gmax is a free version of 3DS Max, I use it, kicks ass. Scripts are easy to use (KAMS) and modeling is just like in Max but doesn't have some tools. Hope that helps.
