gillies
They get SMGs and Desert Eagles if you spray all the tags in the city. If you still want a mod look here.

Did you look in weapons.dat? For more information, you should probably consult the modding forum. OR the readme for the very program that allowed you to read that much, which comes with copies of the data as well

RBJoeR43
To be honest with u man I just bought the game a few weeks ago and I dont know what "The SCM" is...is that the main.scm file or one of the multiple similar files in the data file. If it is the main.scm file that thing is so extensive I wouldnt know where to even look. Sorry Im new at this man but I would appreciate the help. Demarest
Well the help has been dished out over the years. And the beauty part of a forum is that whatever information we wrote out years ago is still here to help YOU today. If you visit the appropriate section, you will find pinned topics, a directory, etc. You say you want help but you're sitting at the internet. There is so much help already within your reach. Yes, the main.scm is where we make most changes. In SA, this sometimes involves the script.img. Since GTA3, there has been one line to give gangs weapons. It is demonstrated above. That's nothing to get lost in as you can see it says set gang weapons. Which means if you were to visit the opcode database and search for weapon(s), you'd quickly find what you're looking for. Then vast or not, you could search the main.scm for that line (each command has its own opcode). All the dots are connected at that point and you'll need only to make your changes and impliment the result. Not simple exactly, but well within anybody's reach that is even remotely willing to do what it takes to effect such a simple modification of the game. You could even use Darkpact to make it happen while continuing to use your existing save. And I agree that once the homies have Desert Eagles, you're set. Recruit three DE wielding GSF and go into gang territory. They blow cars up in a couple seconds. Fierce.
