Regular. I buy GTA IV for the game itself which is fabulous. Waste of money for me to get this extra "kiddie" stuff.

Normal version all the way for me. Like I said before in another topic ( I think ) I wont be needing the extra stuff you get with the game. All I want to play is the game. I dont need anything that comes with the special edition. Plus with the artwork I think would be too busy playing the game to even to bother looking at the never seen before art work. Plus if somebodys that bothered about the art work they will be up on the internet when IV is released. Or sometime after the release date.

I ordered the Special Edition from Rockstars Warehouse, will cost $101 (somewhere around that) to get it shipped to Toronto.

I have pre-ordered the Special Edition on the Playstation 3 for £60.00, not bad considering that just about everywhere else is asking for the full £70.00 to pre-order it.

 

I reckon I will barely use any of the Special Edition items after a while but maybe when I am an old man in 40 years time or so when I am over 60 or something the Special Edition stuff will be worth a lot of money. You never know.

 

Now all I need is to purchase a Playstation 3 which I will be getting as soon as my Special Edition arrives, I have all the money saved for it and game which I sold a lot of stuff on Ebay to get. Having been unemployed for ages it will not stop me from getting the game.

It's going to cost $150 RRP which is pretty steep but for instance DVDCrave an Aussie Online store is selling it for $131 still expensive but better then RRP.

Depends, I don't see why I just spend extra money on something I wont need right away.

When the game first comes out I will get the normal version.

But after a year or so of the release I will buy the Special edition when it is a lot cheaper.

No, I consider myself a huge GTA fanboy but I never had interest in any of the stuff in those special editions apart from the game itself.

 

When the game comes out, you're not going to eat for days, let alone use any of that stuff. BTW I pre-ordered the standard XBOX game last month and I'll buy the XBOX in October.

I think I would if there was a "Making of" DVD, at least then you're getting something that could be considered actual content instead of novelty crap that's been put in there to justify the cost.

 

Heaps of people don't like those DVD's but they always interest me (game programming here I come )

IMO, the price is a little steep...but I'm still buying it.
