TubbyJ
I am currently the Main Storyline Designer for GTA: SAS. My friend, vicecitylover400, is the Director/Main Producer/Lead Designer. I need modders to help my friend mod up the original San Andreas. The story will involve Big Smoke's tale, approximately three years before GTA: SA's events, and two years after CJ leaves for Liberty City and Bryan Johnson is killed. Let me just make this known, I know nothing about modding(or advanced computer skills, really) at all. If you're interested and want to join or team, then PM me. Suction Testicle Man
Um, if you can't even mod, you're a pretty useless addition to a mod team. Making its leader someone who can't mod either is even more strange. From the various projects I've been on over the years, I can tell you now that running a mod isn't like running a business. If you have some idiot labelled as 'leader' - all they'll do is make stupid requests, get in the way, and generally drag the mod down; even more so if they have no idea what they're talking about to begin with anyway. If you have an idea, learn how to mod and start making it; then others may be interested in joining you. If you're too lazy to do this however and would rather be a 'texturer'/'leader'/'designer'/'monkey' then I can lock the topic and you should post in the pinned request topics. If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.

I love your point about leaders!! The PSP is very hard to mod. As theres not realy any tools to mod it atm. Expect for the text, lol.

Firstly, I'm the Main Storyline Designer, I'm not modding at all. My friend, vicecitylover400, knows how to mod. I just started the topic. Secondly, what's with the bashing? I just write the script and design the storyline, you're saying I said I was the leader, where'd you get that? He's leading the whole project. You're calling me a monkey and an idiot, because of what? I'm just trying to get some people who know how to mod because I don't think one guy can do the whole thing himself. Note: We're not modding the PSP, it's for the PC.
KaZu0
well then post some progress you have made it should attract people to it btw you could make In GTA:SAS dogs its really hard though some people allready did it so it makes it possible to do aswell. all you need is 3D tool, a tool wich makes Animations , a Texture tool , Img-tool and this should be it ... try lookin at "Biohazar allert" i dont say you have to copy the dog , but it shows that thats not impossible. Note: We're not modding the PSP, it's for the PC. Fair enough, though I was in fact calling any mod 'leader' a monkey, not yourself therefore unless you consider yourself a 'leader' (apparently not). If you've been recruited as a storyline designer then I guess that's your job, so stick with it. My point remains that you're working on the storyline for a mod that's leader, and therefore main modder, apparently can't mod. I don't mean to bash you, or say you guys can't achieve in the future, but vicecitylover400 seems to be currently spending time asking around the forums how he can remove map objects. This is very basic modding, and can be achieved by anyone by simply reading a tutorial or two and flicking through the game files. I'm really suggesting vicecitylover400 have a look around the forums a bit more and learn the basics of modding before starting something like this and getting others entangled in it. An experienced modder isn't going to want to work with an inexperienced modder that insists on being the 'leader'. Again, I'm not here to pull you down - I'm always willing to help new modders - but one thing I do ask for before offering support is a little common sense and initiative. Those are my 2 cents as a modder. vicecitylover400: There isn't a tool, you need to manually edit the relevant data files in the data folder - you can comment out lines using a hash (#) to prevent them from loading in-game. If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.
TubbyJ
Alright, I see what you're getting at. I really think there needs to be more people helping him out, thoug. Is it a one man job? I don't know, just seemed like something a team should tackle.

jasonlyric
I thought it would be better if you guys could make a San Andreas Stories game that took place after the events of San Andreas (like in 1995). You could follow the story of Cesar trying to get his gang to merge with Grove St. after he marries Kendl. That way there would be a more '90's feel to the game instead of doing the '80's once again. Plus I have a killer playlist on my Youtube site (http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=jasonlyric) with a bunch of songs from that period (gangsta rap, and even more grunge than Radio X originally had). Also, try to work in a conflict between Mike Toreno and The Truth, plus a mission involving you to fly to Vice City (like how the Saint Mark's Bistro mission involved you to go to Liberty City). That would be SO cool!!
