TheDude5000
Jedi Knight 2, Vice City, and San Andreas, and I'm sure other games. Every 10 seconds or so, the game will just freeze for half a second. The framerate itself is normal, but these little half-second disruptions are still very noticable because they occur so much in one minute. It's really pissing me off that I can't enjoy my favorite games.. I haven't been playing much lately, but I can trace this problem back to a few weeks ago. What can I do about this? I'm thinking it could be the torrents that I am seeding from my USB connected Portable HD. I think I've been running torrents for weeks now, that could be it... Tornado Rex
Have you tried running the games without the torrents running? Also, which client are you using? ~ Proud Supporter of the Child's Play Charity! | GTANET + Child's Play ~
TheDude5000
Yeah, closed my torrent client, that seemed to do the job. I just won't run torrents when I play games anymore, obviously. Problem solved, thanks anyway.
Wolf68k
Defragged lately? I run with a bunch of torrents running just fine, as long as I'm not playing the game online ofcourse.
