Rob.
Looks like more of the same with a minor tweak that EA will blow out of the water as the "new feature" Until they return to something like Hot Pursuit 2, i'll give this a pass.
GTA3Rockstar
That looks badass and 'bout time they made the crashes look real. Nice, I might try it out when it comes out!
Raindancer
I was wondering when the new game would be here. I have just finished Carbon, and actually enjoyed it.
3niX
Well... I have just finished Carbon, and actually enjoyed it. It wasnt too bad ... except for its length. Which was 5-6 hours (storyline) for me. Im guessing its going to be the same sh*t in a different box again.
Mark
Hang on, an NFS game that's post UG that's got my attention? Wows. Actually looking forward to more info on this one. Flat out meets Jap Cars from the looks of it lol.
3niX
Well... Developed By EA Black Box, Need For Speed 2007 is the newest in the series. Although instead of tearing it up in the underground, gamers will race in pro drags, drifts, and other race types. This year, Need For Speed will also have a huge focus on damage modeling showing the abuse and age of the car as you will literally need to duct tape the bumper. Mkay, a bit different sh*t... in a different box.
imheretostay
Uhh... Did I get the wrong trailer here or something? All I saw was a boring preview of a car then a car crashing, and that was it.

beanmachine43
I've always preferred NFS over all the sim racers like Forza, Gran Turismo, and all of those games. While they're fun, they're just isn't that much replay value, maybe except for online play. I liked Carbon a lot, didn't buy it, but it was pretty cool. I liked the team commands as well...And I totally did the slingshot manuever just like in Talladega Nights.
Vanilla Shake
Eh, I guess I'll check it out when it releases. But the one I'm waitin' for is Midnight Club Los Angeles... TC718 / <629 / CF5
tuareg
The old NFS's where really good, but all this tuning is a bit tiring. I liked most wanted though very much.
beanmachine43
Eh, I guess I'll check it out when it releases. But the one I'm waitin' for is Midnight Club Los Angeles... DUB was frickin' sweet, every time I started with the '64 Impala. It sort of blurred the lines between realistic driving and arcade racing, just a little more of the latter compared to NFS. DexX
The old NFS's where really good, but all this tuning is a bit tiring. I liked most wanted though very much. agreed. that was the last nfs game i was even remotely interested in. NFSC, and the 2 underground's before it were crap. Last good nfs before underground was 6, HP2. it'll take more than realistic damage to draw me back into the series, although racing in daylight again is also a big help. Yep, night racing gave a good underground feel to racing in previous NFS's, but racing in daylight was definitely better. I havent even touched Carbon yet. Im not sure if i will either. DJDeez
Damage! Finally. Can't say much yet otherwise, but so far it's looking good. Looking forward to see how they implement this damage model into the game.
Erik JS
Wait... the next NFS is gonne be called carbon as well? No its just that EA have used the Carbon website to show the trailer, I am sure on the 31st the game will get its own website. Its either called NFS 2007 or NFS Next its not been confirmed it seems. Xbox 360 Brasil (yes, the one from the topic on GTA4 Official News & Info) states the game's name as "Need for Speed: Pro Street". http://www.europanet.com.br/euro2003/index...12&pag_id=15357 It even seems that the Carbon episode came out some months ago. Well, it came out some months ago. However, before I end with my nose twisted because of the announcement of another game in the series, know that the development of Pro Street began soon after Most Wanted's release. The work is under the responsibility of another team, which began the project from zero. That means deep structural changes. There won't be cops anymore nor races through cities. Btw, even realistic physics will be innovation. The team passed a whole year creating the simulation system, something new for the franchise. Curious? Wait for ed. 07 of Brazil's Official Xbox 360 Magazine (or whatever is the correct name in English) for the complete preview, including unpublished images. DexX
There won't be cops anymore nor races through cities. No cops = no playing it for me. I'm not quite sure why they feel the need to f*ck with the formula - the series was selling quite well before (i'm talking pre-underground) they started messing with it. seriously EA, what the hell? Cran.
If there's gonna be no cops, don't call it Need For Speed. I'm pissed since they changed it from Hot Pursuit 2. I wish they'd remake that.
