gtaplayer111
hey, i am new to this forum, i want to ask a question. i played GTA3 a long time ago at a friend's house, now I am looking to get it myself on PC. it looked fun , but my main problem with it and vice city is that when you're driving, you can't look around with your mouse like in San Andreas! Because of this I keep crash and drive incredibly bad in VC, so bad I never finished it. Because San San Andreas lets you look around with your mouse when you're driving, it was ridiculously easy compared to VC. I'm wondering if GTA 3 in the pc version lets you free look when you're driving, or do you have to use the e and q buttons on the keyboard? because that's annoying. if there's any way to let you have free look (maybe a mod) that would be appreciated, otherwise i won't buy the game, thanks. superkotik
I think, there is no mod for it. Do the controller settings more comfortable for you. For example, use Left Ctrl to look left, Left Alt to look right and Caps Lock to look back. It's easy! Have little more training and all will be OK;)
Demarest
The analog camera is easily the best upgrade in the series after the third dimension. The GTA3 and VC engines are not capable of this. You may still use the look left and look right buttons to at least get relative cardinal fields of vision. Really though, this shouldn't impact your driving. Just remember that it's US rules, so on a turn, turn into the right lane. If the problem is that the camera doesn't follow you after a turn fast enough, just tap look ____ and upon release, you'll be looking squarely ahead once again.
