modding unmoddable cars and adding paint jobs

I want to give the patriot a camo paint job to give it at a modding garage. is there a way i can make the patriot moddable at the garage (transfender i think) in san fiero.

Also how would i add the paint job?

which vehicles are allowed in which mod shop, is controlled by the main.scm - it's scripted, and somewhat difficult to change, if you've never touched that aspect of the game.

 

If you manage to get the patriot to be "moddable" via one of the garages, then you would need to edit the patriot model itself, with either 3dsmax/gmax or zmodeler 2 - any program that is capable of exporting san andreas-compatible models.

I have now got it moddable at transfenders but what do I then need to do to the patriot model?

You mean , add dummies such as : ug_nitro /ug wing left blabla , remapbody256 ??
