Some Pixeling

I've been looking around the net at some pixel art, and I've really taken an interest in it. So I thought, why not try doing some myself?

 

 

This is my very first attempt at doing so. It's a pretty basic, non-isometric, LCD screen done in PS. It took about an hour to create, do some experimenting with it, but I think it turned out quite well.

 

What are your thoughts on it? Comments and crits accepted.

Its really nice, It looks great for your first attempt. You've certainly nailed shading and highlighting on this piece, and the texture around the edge is awesome, Although my only criticism would be that the texture on the actual screen looks a little out of place.

Apart from that, damn good for your first piece!

Yes. It is very nicely done.

Some nice detail, and palette.

 

My only problem is the corners of the screen have some NPA elements to them.
