I think, in this game, theres nothing you DON'T have to do... for 100.

Try googling "vice city 100% list" and you should find lots of info.

Edit: Sorry, I thought I was in the Vice City section.

But still, google is your friend.

The PS2 release added side-missions that are apparently NOT needed for 100%.

Edit: check Gameplay portion of this VCS section for 100% info.

well I have the game for PSP so this is what I think you need to do

Take over all buisness empires = gives you bullet proof buisness vehicles

complete all buisness empire missions = percentage on game completing

pop all 99 red balloons = weapons at safe house

complete fire truck, paramedic, vigilante, etc those type of side missions

Complete all racing missions of both islands = havent done this yet

complete all rampages = havent done this yet

complete all unique stunts = havent done this yet

complete the corona collecting job in the mall = havent done this yet

complete the air ambulance = increase on max health

complete the air fire fighter = become fire proff (you can do this with the fire truck)

complete all PCJ corona collecting = percentage on game completing

complete beach patrol mission = never get tired from swimming

complete jet ski racing missions = jet ski outfit

deliver all cars to the civil assest group = free pant n spray useage

if there is any more missions I forgot, then quote me and add them plz! sly.gif like the guy above me said, you could of googled this dontgetit.gif but if your lazy just read my post happy.gif

Of course they are. 100% mean that you have to complete everything that the game has to offer. Side Missions, Story Missions, Rampages, hidden packages, unique stunts, and everything else.

Although, multiplayer is not necessary.

In the PS2 version, there IS no multi-player.

And I stand by my statement, but only because I remember there were players that had gotten 100% on the PS2 version, but had NOT yet completed one or more of the "NEW for PS2" side-missions. The OP did not state which console he was on, but the checklist linked is for the PSP version.

For instance, PS2 has 4 different PCJ-600 checkpoint races, not 2.

When you get to the east island, there is a dune buggy on the beach. It starts the mission. But.

This is a side-mission with a "twist".

There are actually two versions, so do it this way.

Get in, do the mission up through level 5, at which point you get a message that "if you stop or fail now, you will automatically resume at this level", like most of the other R3 missions.

So quit the mission. Then get back in the buggy, and it will now be the "other" type. Both are fun.

I didn't know this until I heard about it after completing by playing all the way through level 15. On another play-through I did the other version.

But I'm pretty sure it works like this.

You are quite correct Bix. I tried it, and there are 2 versions....

or are there?....Enjoying the second part, I decided to keep going, I got to level 25, and thought I'd better save it, to make sure I didn't blow meself up or owt...

and when I went back, there's a third game here!

Actually there are 3 versions:

Kill the bikers wrecking the beach

Take the paramedic (who's ambulance is stuck) to the patients on the beach

Drive the boat to people in the sea and toss them.......round circle things at them.

biggrin.gif

The boat one is quite rare.

And also, the downloadable checklist is PSP ONLY.

It doesnt say anything about PS2 extras. It also says Fire Heli goes upto Level 15. It doesnt, it goes upto Level 5.

And finally, it doesnt say anything about empire.

In empire you have to:

Own all buisnesses (spelling?).

Buy a high roller at least once for all types.

Max out respect in all types
