Vigilante money trick w/o losing ratings!

I really have to say thanks to amadjokhio for the thread which I saw. However, I saw already that it's an old trick. But I realized that there's more to it, like the need to not spawn a Rhino.

 

 

First get a police car or any vehicle for that matter. Park it in your Hyman Condo garage, start the mission, come out (stay away from the garage door), and finally type in the BIGBANG cheat. You will pass any mission whenever you do this plus get lots of cash without losing ratings! If the game complains that you need to enter into a vehicle before the mission ends, simply go into the garage to get inside the police car that you personally stored. 

IMO, this is much better than the Cone Crazy money trick. You will also complete Level 12 Vigilante even faster for your 100% VC stats.

Yeah. That approach has been around since GTA3.

 

Maybe Spuds can tell us, but I'm pretty sure that if you use his Hunter trick, time is on your side if cash collection is your goal.

Depends on how much money you want and how fast.

 

Cone crazy trick on PS2- Max out your money in 20 minutes-- I don't thing you can do the above method 391 times in that amount of time-- but since you are on PC, it is likely easier then getting your time down to 6 seconds on cone crazy and beating your record by exactly 1 second each time (this can be hard and if you mess up once beat it by 2 seconds one time, you won't max your money on PC)-- I've never seen a cone crazy time under 6 seconds.

 

Brown thunder with a lousy spawning spot-- max out money in about 2 hours.

 

Brown thunder with a good spawning spot (airport area)-- max out money in about 80 minutes.

 

Brown thunder with a great spawning spot (airport near where the runways intersect)-- max out money in about 60 minutes.

 

If you just want a few million dollars or so, and don't mind cheating-- then go for it..

 

I usually do vigilante when I get the tank in "sir yes sir".. the first time I steal the tank, I drive it to the hyman condo and park it in the garage... let it blow up and fail the mission, let the garage heal it, then do vigilante in the tank before repeating the mission.

If I'm looking just for fun factor, I start a new game and play Vigilante with nothing but the Shotgun in the first cruiser I steal to begin with.

 

Otherwise, I'll start a new game by collecting 100 packages and plucking the Hunter.

Vigilante is faster than Cone Crazy money trick because it takes the same amount of time to pass each level if you do the trick properly, and thus you get a great deal of money faster that way. As for Cone Crazy, you need to like remember what your old record was and try to slow down for every single checkpoint to able to beat it easily on the next retry of the mission. Sometimes it may be difficult.

No its not... it is at first but cone crazy will quickly pass it up... which is why I said it depends on how much money you want.

 

For cone crazy, you can repeat it each time in about a minute-- your prize money will double each time-- so about 20 minutes to max your money (the following is cumulative reward money)

I don't think you can do 391 levels of vigilante with that method in 20 minutes...

 

You would have to type pretty fast, less then every minute get back in your car, etc...

 

I don't think you could do more then 10-12 levels per minute with that method (not that I ever tried it)...

 

How fast can you do it-- how about a 5 minute time trial (see how many levels you can do)

 

But like I said in my previous post, one screwup on PC and you won't max your money-- so it probably will be easier on PC... but definitely easier to max your money on PS2... and you can do right after starting a new game.
