[SA] Vehicle Audio Editor

Hi everyone.

I wood like to show you my Vehicle Audio Editor because this is

the first tool to edit audio properties of vehicles in SA .

I think that you will like it .

 

You can edit :

1) Car type.

2) Engine sounds.

3) Door sounds.

4) Horn sound.

5) Radio type.

6) Main radiostation

(initial radio in car).

7) There are some Unknown variables , i don't know

their meaning.

 

How to use :

1)Download program here and unpack archive.

2)Launch "[sA]VehicleAudioEditor.exe".

3)Click "Open exe".

3)Now you can see names and ids of vehicles.

4)Click any vehicle.

5)Change what you want.

7)Click "Apply Changes".

8)It's all , have fun.

I need to say WOW! Nice tool there.. BTW u could make some documentation of what ID means which audio. And i've seen ur editor can open and show how many vehicle slots are in the exe.. Could u make a decent way to increase that number, so we can have more vehicles?

I tried with one more vehicle. I defined it everywhere, but theres a exe Limit for this stuff.

And it also sounds logicaly:

 

First we have the genereal IDs,

Then we have PEDs, then cars and then mapping objects.

All defined diffrent.

So the exe needs to know which ID is to handle like a car, ped or map object!

would it be possible for a similiar tool to be able to edit the hardcoded part of the EXE that determines weather its a plane or a bike or a car

 

i thought that was one of the features, however, i replaced the Andromeda

 

all the Vehcile ID lines, handelling, lines, and changed all the values in your application to be that of the freeway

 

and it appears correctly in the game, it sounds alright, hwoever, when i try to ride it, it responds funnily, the anims dont work properly etc

 

would it be possibe for you to make an app to edit these?

 

that would almost totally open up vehicle modding in GTA SA

 

 

 

also

 

would it be possible to add a function in your app, that allows users to create predetermined changes

 

so, with vehicle mods, the user changes the model, the texture, the handeling as usual

 

but then double clicks on a new file, lets say .SACA or something, which uses your programme to replace the sounds?

I've downloaded and I like, I've replaced my Maverick sound with a Hunter, which sounds brilliant, but one problem: I tried to make my Rustler a jet, downloaded a mod turning it into an A-10 Warthog and tried to use Hydra sounds for the Rustler, but now it makes no engine sounds at all when i use it...

The tool says that Hydra's sound is -1, so i put -1 into rustler and now theres no sound.

Could anyone help me?

Hi, Im making a SA mod, and this tool would be of great help, but i need to know which files it changes once i click "save", so as to know which files i need to add to the distribution of the mod. Does this tool change just "vehicles.ide", or changes more files? Does it change something into main.scm or some other mayor file?

will this also work for gta vc or gta3? i really cant figure out how to change engine sounds to another car in the game on gta vc.. confused.gif
