MyMothersMySister Posted June 22, 2007 Share Posted June 22, 2007 I don't 'do' driving games normally but I'm currently engrossed in Forza 2. I haven't been online with it yet either! If you liked Gotham then I'd say you'll like this a bit more. More to tweak and the cars feel more personalised when you race. Always great to unlock a new beast before pimping, upgrading it to death and then finally whupping some arse on the track. In other news, Attempted my first paint job this morning on Forza 2 while recovering from an endurance race. It's a very early WiP so no laughing and pointing at then00b please. I'm here to ask info on decent shading techniques to helpme along and to also gather any tips or info on the subject. The Paint section of Forza is almost a game in itself it's that powerful. The hair is just there for the sake of being there atm and I need to reshape the bottom of his mask. His hands need a bit of finsihing too but that's why I posted. To ask opinions and to get pointers. Anywho, Here's my attempt!. I'm sure you'll recognise him. (Excuse my sh*t Camera work) It's obvious I need help. So Help. I've got 6 old 360 games i plan on trading in next friday for overlord and the darkness cos i'm bored of the games i have atm. Think this game is worth a buy? The most serious racing game i've played is project gothem, would i like this sorta game? The racing is great, can be easy at times depending on how you play though. Definitely worth the buy. Not with a banned Xbox 360. I've bought another but it's at my brothers. You're right however. The cam on TV does not do it justice. Yeah, it is a simple design, but it was executed well and the added originality is pretty sweet, too. That Alien Hominid car is really cool, don't know what to tell you about the background, other than to experiment with the subtle but effective gradients. As of now I'm trying to make a Big Lebowski car, with Walter aiming the pistol. I am using a reference picture that is a vectored (is that the right nomenclature, man?) drawing, that will be much easier for me than using a unedited still from the movie. I know that you're gutted you bought DiRT instead of Forza! @ Sip, I need that Vertical stripes paintjob. It's quality. Speaking of paint jobs, I've been working on a Bruce Lee pic. Not having much luck tbh although I'm getting there. This pic doesn't do it justice at all. You can't see the levels of shading etc put into it. It's my new baby! I hit Level 50 today too and am currently 87% of career. Two more endurance races left and the whole of the racing series where you earn points.
