Blackadder.
Looks good, basic but effective. Maybe you could try and model a modern one?... Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/278087-rel-final-hi-tech-jetpack/#findComment-4237177 Share on other sites
Midnightz
Edit the .dff? I wish I could. I believe I'd learn fast enough but from everything I've read, 3DS Max is the program for that and it's definitely not cheap. If you know of existing freeware that would permit such modding, I would be more than willing to give it a try. (you wouldn't believe how often I wish I could change .dff files!) Krailer
I believe I'd learn fast enough but from everything I've read, 3DS Max is the program for that and it's definitely not cheap. If you know of existing freeware that would permit such modding, I would be more than willing to give it a try. When 3ds max was owned by Discreet (before greedy Autodesk taking over) there was its freeware little brother, Gmax. Not nearly as advanced as 3ds, but the interface is somewhat similar, and with Kam's scripts installed it will suffice your .dff editing needs. You can find Gmax at Turbosquid, all they ask is a valid email account to send you the registration key and they really don't spam (in almost 2 years I got like 3 emails from them, if that much). nabo45
You can also use the free tool Zmodeler 1.07b without san andreas dff filter or you can buy the new Zmodeler 2.9 with san andreas dff filter for 53.00 US$, both tools are great... [DRuG]NikT
/me jumps up and down singing the zmod hatesquad theme song. I'd get a copy of 3dsmax by hook or by crook, personally. Kam's DFF/IO plugins for max release thread can be found here on gtaf with a quick search. Love the jetpack mate, but yeh, I, too, encourage you to have a go at editing the model itself. It has less dangerous flames <3 lol. Nice texture man, prolly even better than every one I did. EDIT: one of them has it: normal res jetpack pack high res jet pack pack Someone show me screens with his texture on my jetpack! Midnightz
Love the jetpack mate, but yeh, I, too, encourage you to have a go at editing the model itself. Thanks. I've been badly wanting to change GTASA models and as soon as I can, gonna give it a whirl. You guys can download my Jetpack mods from wayyyy long ago on GTAGarage (Only a few things from me on there.) for a new jetpack model. It has less dangerous flames <3 lol. Nice texture man, prolly even better than every one I did. Will check yours out too, thanks. Someone show me screens with his texture on my jetpack! Her* My texture is tiny - hope it works with your model. Ahh, the missing "female touch" for GTASA texture modding. ========================================== I'm glad to see you guys are liking the Jetpack and ask that you please RATE it. (see first post in topic) How well it rates determines how many of the hundreds of textures I've made, get released.
