How do I shoot while driving?

I am playing on PC and I can't shoot while I am driving do you have any ideas what I am doing wrong.

you cant free aim.

but when your in a car you can look left/right when you have

a submachine gun equipped and press the fire button and do a drive-by.

while in a car, you can't shoot straight ahead, so press Q or E to look right or left perpendicularly and then press the shoot button.

 

when in a bike, you can shoot both straight ahead, as well as on the sides, but in either case (car or bike) you cant aim.

 

using special vehicles (rhino, hydra, police chopper, hunter), to 'shoot' button fires the vehicle attached special weapon.

theres a cheat to free aim but it makes driving horrible
