editing the iso files to make mods?

Recommended Posts

Yes, but often the file format on console versions differs from that of the PC versions. Hence the regular modding tools need to be adapted to be able to extract/edit/etc. console files. Then you have to re-burn the disc, use a modded console to play a DVD-R, etc. etc. etc.

It's just a whole lot simpler to mod the PC versions.

well we should get people that know about modding and coding like edison carter, waterbottle, skiller, etc. in on this so we can make it happen.

the only modding i have ever done to my GTA:LCS iso is changing the icon and background you see when you select it from your memory stick.

if anybody would like to help they need a psp with custom firmware (preferably 3.03 oe-c) and the following programs.

*usb special system storage (for psp)

*UMDGEN (for pc)

*and programs to open files on isos
