SA Path Editing

Well than... I`ll give you some update Information.

 

1st I am working on a language setting (For german, russian and english language)

 

2nd... I am also working on a max script for my tool. here are 2 Screenies with path from MI and VC2SA:

But it`s in a very early stage... and I dont know if I can finish those scripts, cause MaxScript realy suxx in my eyes!

Well thats great work and nice tool, Plz tell when are you going to release it.

I am having problem with Path Editor Alpha 1.5; I can not export data in .dnf after I get data from game. Currently I am using 1.0 to export my data. And the F9, F11 pressing after 10 meter is a headache. Plz Can you remove that in the next version of Path editor. After all the Editor is great and it is so easy.

Well to the Version numbers (I know its a little bit confusing...) But there are the ALPHAs (ALPHA 1.0 and ALPHA 1.5) and then a few days ago I released FINAL 1.0

 

So make sure you get the FINAL versions from these links:

Is this tool easy to use because I am from the GTASA LC mod which is Liberty City in SA engine and one of the things I am trying to do is get paths for Cars, Bikes, Boats, and Peds but havent found a proper tool to do so.

 

Since we converted the VC GTA:LC we could probably use the paths.ipl from the VC GTA:LC but do you know how we would go about making the paths.ipl into a Nodes.dat type of file to use in the LC on SA engine project?

Well I tried to code a converter for IPL => Path, and it nearly worked, but there was one f*cking Bug which makes all 2000 lines code unuseable.

The Main problem is the diffrent link system for car path.

 

(And if I managed it to code the converter to an end till now VC2SA and LC2SA wouldnt have such buggy path tounge.gif )

this tool looks promising but remember that a lot of the ped paths and ped interactions in SA were triggered by special sections within a lot of the map dff's.

 

this is going to be especially useful for the vehicle paths though smile.gif

This tool is very useful! Nice work on it. Only one suggestion if u could do it, that would be awsome! Is it possible to somehow "convert" the original path.ipl files from both VC and GTA3? If yes, could u implement a feature on that?

Aschratts Path Editor is very easy to use path editor, all u have to do is just run cj on the path u want to create in a vehicle or on foot and mem hack will get the data for you;
