Introduction

After a good look into the GTA3 forums I saw tons and tons of topics asking for song names, sound files, and so on. And after another search, I saw that there are no official soundtrack topics for GTA3. So I thought of making one. I have the Original Soundtrack from GTA3, and it wouldn't hurt much to post that listing here.

The GTA3 radio is one of the most memorable, at least for me. It reminds me of my very first GTA experience and that unforgettable first drive into town with the Kuruma, and discovering that there was much to it than robbing cars and driving here and there. It's a classic to me, and I'm sure to most of you that played the game nearly everyday, it was too.

So here we go.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Statistics

In total, GTA3 has 9 Radio Stations, and they vary from the quantity of music each one have. The time of play ranges from 18 to 50 minutes of radio play (the later being chatterbox) on each radio station. There are a total of 54 songs, not including the non-stop chatterbox talk radio.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Listing

________________________________________________________________________

Head Radio

Host: DJ Michael Hunt

Plays: Pop/Adult Contemporary

Notes: Head Radio features in GTA3's two antecessors, Grand Theft Auto, and GTA2, as well as in LCS. It's also shown briefly in San Andreas, and known to be owned by Love Media. It parodies the present date's pop bands and singers, as well as old school techno band Kraftwerk (referred to as 'Scatwerk').

Dil-Don't - Stripe Summer

Whatever - Good Thing

Craig Gray - Fade Away

Conor and Jay - Change

Frank Fame - See Thru You

Scatwerk - Electronic Go Go

Dezma - Life is But a Mere Supply

________________________________________________________________________

Double Cleff

Host: Morgan Merryweather

Plays: Opera

Notes: Double Cleff features in LCS as well. Not a radio I like, but features some classics of the italian music.

Le Nozze di Figaro - Non piu andrai farfallone amoroso

Lucia di Lammermoor - Chi mi frena in tal momento

La traviata - Libiamo ne'lieti calici

Don Giovanni - Finch'han del vino

Gianni Schicchi - O mio babbino caro

Rigoletto - La Donna è mobile

________________________________________________________________________

K-Jah

Host: The Pacifier

Plays: Dub/Reggae Music

Notes: The host seems to always be high, and they're noted to play only Scientist songs. It's featured in LCS and San Andreas, the later as K-Jah West.

Scientist - Dance of the Vampires

Scientist - Your Teeth in My Neck

Scientist - The Corpse Rises

Scientist - The Mummy's Shroud

Scientist - Plague of Zombies

________________________________________________________________________

Rise FM

Host: Andrew Accelerator

Plays: Electro/Techno/Trance/House

Notes: It's a non-stop techno radio station that broadcasts live from a planetarium somewhere. It holds one of the soundtrack's most memorable songs: Score, from Slyder.

Slyder - Neo

Slyder - Score (Original Mix)

Chris Walsh and Dave Beran - Shake

Shiver - Deep Time

RRDS - Innerbattle

________________________________________________________________________

Game Radio

Host: Stretch Armstrong and Lord Seer

Plays: Hip hop/Rap

Notes: Game Radio presents the underground (then) known artists than now are mainstream-ish, Royce Da 5'9", Sean Price, Agallah, among others. They have a real working website, GameCrib.com and pornographical sites that are mentioned in-game.

Reef - Scary Movies Instrumental

Royce Da 5'9" - We're Live (Danger)

Nature - Nature Freestyle

JoJo Pellegrino - JoJo Pellegrino Freestyle

Royce Da 5'9 Ft. Pretty Ugly - Spit Game

Black Rob - By A Stranger

Royce Da 5'9" - I'm The King

Rush - Instrumental Bed 1

Rush - Instrumental Bed 2

Sean Price Ft. Agallah - Rising to the Top

________________________________________________________________________

Lips 106

Host: Andy

Plays: Pop Music

Notes: This radio is known to be the most phony one. It plays more commercials than any other radio station in Liberty City. It holds absurd contests to win tickets to "the ball game" in the weekend. It's home to the famous Grand Theft Auto theme song that plays in the original GTA. It's owner is Love Media.

Fatamarse - Bump To The Music

Marydancin - Wash Him Off

April's in Paris - Feels Like I Just Can't Take No More

Lucy - Forever

Boyz 2 Girls - Pray It Goes Ok?

Da Shootaz (Voiced by rapper Robert DeNegro) - Grand Theft Auto

Funky BJs - Rubber Tip

________________________________________________________________________

MSX FM

Host: DJ Timecode and Codebreaker

Plays: Occasional drum & bass

Notes: The DJs speak in a speedy manner, and often the listeners can't comprehend what he's saying. The DJ also freestyles over the songs. MSX FM actually means Moving Shadows.

Calyx - Quagmire

Rascal and Klone - Get Wild

Ryme Tyme - Judgement Day

Omni Trio - First Contact

Aquasky - Spectre

Rascal and Klone - Winner Takes All

Cause 4 Concern - Spasm

D Kay - Monolith

TJ Rizing - Agent 007

________________________________________________________________________

Flash Back FM

Host: Toni

Plays: Mainly songs from the movie Scarface.

Notes: All songs in the playlist can be heard in the Babylon Club featured in Scarface. Toni used to host for the Flash radio station in the eighties back in Vice City. It's another one owned by Love Media.

Paul Engemann - Push It to the Limit

Debbie Harry - Rush Rush

Amy Holland - She's On Fire

Elizabeth Daily - Shake It Up

Elizabeth Daily - I'm Hot Tonight

________________________________________________________________________

Chatterbox

Host: Lazlow

Notes: Chatterbox is a talk radio owned by Love Media, and is a one show only instead of a talk show composed by various sections. It features guests from in-game show biz artists, as well as two people that in GTA3 you do missions for. Lazlow gives the feel that Chatterbox is a very good radio station, and shows that Love Media cares about the employees. Donald Love advertises briefly about his company on the show.

This show has no tracks, of course.

Everything shown here that is not track listing has been done entirely by me. Similarity to any texts from anywhere are plain coincidence.

It's well laid out but its not much use. The game has been out for 6 years now in which time the soundtrack listing has been posted and discussed on countless occasions. Best of which can be found on wikipedia.

There isn't an official soundtrack for GTA 3, not one you can buy like the ones that were made available for VC and SA.

This is a listing for the songs that were on the radio stations of GTA 3.

The songs from GAME FM are in the real life too!!

Da Shootaz (Voiced by rapper Robert DeNegro) - Grand Theft Auto

I searched a lot of time this song in the Internet, but I couldn't find it sad.gif

I searched it at two names: Da Shootaz - Grand Theft Auto and Da Shootaz - Joyride, but I didn't find anything mad.gif

If anyone knows where I could get each individual song from Rise FM, PLEASE tell me. "Neo" and "Interbattle" were the only ones I could ever really find... stupid Limewire...

Well done, you've typed out the GTA3 manual

I'm gonna refrain from talking to people who are desperate to gain a free post.

Oh, and yes, there is an OST from GTA3. Although it's not for sale anymore. You can try finding on Ebay. And no, I didn't copy anything that's listed there from the GTA3 Manual. I got the song names from the OST booklet, but the listing was made in my own format.

Hrimfaxi, don't talk about warez. It's Innerbattle, and you can grab it on iTunes.

stef, you can find about four of Game Radio's songs on GameCrib.com for download free of charge. Note that Game Crib has the OST for Game Radio for sale in their online store as well.

Sorry 'bout that, I won't do that again. I meant to say "Innerbattle," though, typo, thanks for that correction.

NO! The music style in MSX is Jump Up Techno

Check this site - it's all about the Electronic music and its branches - Techno, House, Trance, Jungle, Breakbeat and Downtempo! Jump Up is in the techno group!

Moving Shadow / MSX is not Techno,

Drum'n'bass / Jungle, some older Moving Shadow tracks were Hardcore.

But not techno

did you ever see the in game MSX FM advertising? It looks just like that. And MSX is a spoof to Moving Shadow, which is a drum and bass type of record label.

And that's a different kind of MC'ing.
