Slamman
I was just playing my GTA San An on PC and it froze up dead, I think this is the topic in question, if so, this seemed quite common to my PS2 version of the game, at least in the early stages... I had gone a long time with no save, as a result everything was lost when it froze and I had to end it and close the game! This is as bad as playing can get! I don't think there is a solution, seems like a bug with the software in both versions, linked to the audio I seem to think, as it has a funny affect, but then again not entirely sure they are related faults. My PC version is running under both XP and Win2K and I have a Radeon card with 128MB and an integrated Extreme Graphics Intel 845GV that it is running on with the lowest graphic settings and still plays in slow motion. Considering the min stats, it should play Closer to Normal that what I'm getting with 512MB Ram installed and 2.6GHz CPU. I'm pretty bummed. I was able to get GTA3 to work on a laptop with an ATI Mobility at 16MB video RAM! It wasn't too pretty but it had Pentium 3 support for that PC version BILL Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/276762-frozen-gta/#findComment-4265537 Share on other sites
