Zom-B Posted April 30, 2007 Share Posted April 30, 2007 I recently saw a trailer for the Xbox version of GTA3, i'm buying a 360 in a few months and want to buy the GTA Trilogy pack for it. (Hopfully it's backwards compatible) Made me wonder though, i heard rumours that the models are higher quality.. Claude looks slightly better, he seems to have detailed looking spiked hair and face, and the flames on the Diablo Stallion looked different. Am i seeing things? Or are there really different models? Demarest Posted April 30, 2007 Share Posted April 30, 2007 I don't know if the models are different, but I know that the engine supports a type of reflection that other versions didn't or something like that. Zom-B Posted May 2, 2007 Author Share Posted May 2, 2007 The Xbox version of the Double Pack has improved audio, polygon models, and reflections over the PC and PS2 versions of the game. The Double Pack was not released for the PC. Examples of Claude and the Stallion differences. (Shine on the jacket, detailed shirt, hair spikes, hands. The only surprise to it is that they were willing to take the extra time and effort to make it so. But subsequent releases being improved isn't that big of a surprise. Zom-B Posted May 10, 2007 Author Share Posted May 10, 2007 Alright, if you put your Xbox GTA3 disc in your PC's DVD drive (A CD drive might work, not sure.) Navigate to My Computer, explore the Disc, find "gta3.img", usually in the \models folder. Use IMGtool 2.0 to explore it, use the "Find" function to search for player.dff player.txd playerp.dff playerp.txd Extract each file one by one, pack them into a .zip/.rar, upload them somewhere and post them here.
