cj-extraordinare
I have installed SA:MP in the San Andreas folder. I join a server, start a game, the SA:MP loading screens appear. But when they dissappear the screen remains black. What do I need to do to make the multiplayer game work? oh... I modified the gta3.img by replacing some vehicles and I also changed the handling file. Does this have to do with anything? Justin
Try playing with an unmodded copy of the game. http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showforum=204 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/276695-samp-help/#findComment-4213363 Share on other sites
cj-extraordinare
thanx man. But did anyone play succesfully SA:MP with a modded version of san andreas? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/276695-samp-help/#findComment-4213433 Share on other sites
Justin
thanx man. But did anyone play succesfully SA:MP with a modded version of san andreas? Doubtful. The idea of banning modded games is that it makes a fairer playing ground. Imagine, if you will, a player enters a server where his game gives him access to thirty Hunters while everyone else is restricted to the original game. It's not the nicest feeling to be on the back end of such 'cheating' - since that's what it is. cj-extraordinare
thanx again. But i don't mean that kind of modding. I just replace some vehicles so they don't look like in the original game. Thanks again for the advice. I am downloading the unmodded game right now. Suction Testicle Man
thanx again. But i don't mean that kind of modding. I just replace some vehicles so they don't look like in the original game. Thanks again for the advice. I am downloading the unmodded game right now. 1. Don't discuss illegal downloads at GTAF. 2. Modding can achieve many different cheating methods. Rather than let the select few change a few cars, it's easier to ban everything outright.
