PS2 DVD not readable

I was kinda curious - cause of the 'is there another character in VCS that was taken out' - and tried to search an answer by myself as I noticed that the disk continously refuses to work in the DVD drive of my computer (unlike its predecessors).

 

Is there a way to get this bit... errr... thing readable?

First off, are you sure your PC has a DVD drive and not just a CD drive, because DVD's will not work in CD drives-it must be a DVD drive to work.

 

 

If you do have a DVD drive, then put the disc in and if it doesn't run automatically, then click start-my computer-and finally click on the disc drive to open it. Hope this helps.

Where did you find that at?

 

Anyway, make sure other DVDs play. If they don't play then, have you installed any computer games lately? Certain computer games are known to have a copy protection called "StarForce", this copy protection has been known to ruin drives.
