Ring_of_Fire
Whenever you hear the weather alert after starting a new game, just press on the F1 key and press it again. This can also work if you press ESC. I don't know if this works for PS2/Xbox, but what might is if you go into Audio Setup, configure a radio station, and then resume gameplay. What's funny is that if there's no radio station selected, the alert will still come on! I wonder what'll happen if I use custom MP3s instead. Demarest
That's cool. In GTA3, I actually muted the file because I was tired of hearing it Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/276495-weather-alert-interruption/#findComment-4218812 Share on other sites
Ring_of_Fire
Yeh, I am tired of hearing it too! But why dies R* allow the gamer to edit so much of the game's core files? It should be like hidden so that editing it would destroy the entire game. I never know that some of these files could be actually readable in Notepad. Demarest
You'd have to learn programming. I mean like formally. When programmers do something, there's a reason. Often to make it easier to modify while developing. For that matter, GTA is such a successful series because the community can modify it. Keeps interest alive and curiosity fresh. I would've told you that before. But now that Hot Coffee came and went and their locking us out has all but killed the community, the proof is in the pudding.
