tokarev33
personally, i never liked any of the desert missions myself...way too tough and unrealistic, but like cj says during one of the missions....the world is much bigger than the hoods of LS, and i really enjoyed the assignments in las venturas.. but yeah, playing real life rocks above all else!! HolyGrenadeFrenzy
I play all the missions cuz I figure CJ needs all the reinforcement he can muster to survive and thrive back it the hood and drawing on the surrounding area is sharp no matter what universe you are from. maddmac
i replay the game with different sets of "rules" or logic that I set. In the game I'm playing right now I let myself cheat only IF it's within my "rules". Like I'll use the infinite ammo cheat now that I've got enough money to buy as many guns/rounds as I need. It saves me trips to Ammunation. I also used the stamina, vehicle handling and hitman cheats because this round I figured that CJ was in decent shape, could shoot and drive before he left LS. I've also got a game I'm working with no cheats and I cannot leave LS play green sabre until I've done everything possible in LS. That one is going to take a while. I plan on doing the same for the other areas. keeps it fresh. Jonathan Cronin
well i personally hate the countryside missions,i love the venturas missions alot but Los Santos is really cool, but in my opnion not to stay in forever...When i got extremly bored with Los Santos i just used the no wanted level cheat and the jetpack cheat to go to LSX(Los Santos Airport)and get a jet and explore the rest of San Andreas with out getting 4 stars,if i ever started a new game i would probably do the same as you,i would stay in LS!!! Bartleby
Isn't there something unrealistic in one man charging into a motel and taking out an entire SWAT team with a shotgun? oipolloi
Bah, i discovered withing 10 minutes of starting SA how to get into the airport. Park a car next to the wall where the (locked) gate is, and climb on the car and then you can climb the wall. Now get the dodo and have fun! BixDugan
The missions are the "main courses" in any GTA, so I dutifully follow, sampling side-dishes along the way. I'm back playing SA now trying for 100%, for once.... Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/276473-staying-in-los-santos/#findComment-4216261 Share on other sites

LOL So tell me if you do the same I totally agree. I remember the second time I played San Andreas I did that and just chilled around so I didn't have too move on. I even agree with you about how it is unrealistic after that as the missions seem too secret agent and aren't hardcore gangster. I usually just play basketball and do drive-bys with Grove Street Homies and stuff until I decide to continue on with the game. w³bster
I've played all the story, because when I play a GTA I wanna know the exact story and the GTA SA story was kinda interesting with many twists. I mean, didn't you wanna find out why Big Smoke and Ryder sold you out? Well I did. I never played the full 100% percent tho, after the story it gets boring for me. Gantons Most Wanted
The game was great on a whole but its solid foundations layed by the early missions were just forgot about like certain key points in the game were totally forgoten later on. But what i didn;t understand was how come there wasn't any other ghetto gang bangers in SF and LV who you would team up with that would of made it a little more realistic i mean SF was a good part but i think the game just got too side tracked from what you had to do at the beggining. Like one minutre your rebuilding your brothers gang next thing you know your blowing up planes for a government agent. edscoble
Remember, we're talking about Carl Johnson's choice of path, he choose to get out of Los Santos, and earn more outside, we're playing him, we're not playing for what we want.
