Problem with san andreas

Ok so here is the deal. I just got my new computer up and running, so I go and buy a "legitament" copy of the game from a so called friend. Well as it turned out this wasnt a legitment copy, it looked real enough mad.gif . Even had the image and everything well I brush it off and say I will buy it next payday. But then I get unexpected crash(this was before I knew about my cracked exe) So the error report popped up and I sent it away. All is fine and dandy and I fix the problem. Game is working fine untill friday last week. Now the game boots me to the desktop every time I start. So I go out and buy it from gamestop for 15 bucks hoping to fix the problem. Well this doesent work either, game still boots me and asks me to send a error report. I am compleatly stuck and any help is appreciated

try deleting the SET file (gta_sa.set) from your GTA San Andreas User Files directory...if that doesn't solve the problem, then manually delete the User Files folder, and re0install the game, so that a new User Files folder is created...that should solve the problem...

Well I just went ahead and deleated everything even remotly related to GTA hopefully this works.Stupid pirates I hate em.

hopefully you took care to uninstall the pirated copy, because deleting it would still leave traces in your Registry, which might also leave problems for you...you might have to clean out your Registry then...
