When it comes to drugs I've taken pretty much everything thrown at me. 07' was just a haze of high powered narcotics.

 

I made alot of bad decisions, like DXM, dramamine, ether and Belladona that I will never repeat but I gained alot of insight into myself from things like acid and mushrooms.

 

After the mushroom binge that was Bali I've really cut back though. I have cut way back on my smoking and just enjoy a drink with good friends. Like woody said, you've gotta grow up sometime.

Good luck my friend, but it can be done. Last year for lent, I went 40 days without eating any sweets, drinking soft drinks and going on the computer. I managed to complete it successfully; you just have to stay focused on it, really.

One time when I went up north a little to a place called Bindoon, we were having trips on a mates farm, ate one when we got there at about 6 at night, had an awesome night attempting to socialise with the local country bumpkins and wandering around the horse paddock while tripping balls, stayed up all night then had another tab at about 6 when the sun was coming up the next morning. Something about tripping for a good 20 hours straight without sleeping that doesnt do wonders for your state of mind. By the end of it I sort of forgot what feeling normal was like, went for a swim about 3 in the afternoon and I kept thinking there was more than 2 of us in the pool...weirded me out a fair bit...

 

Went to sleep that afternoon for a good 20 hours and woke up fine

Yeah, I think I'd probs sketch out on mushies (well at least on my first time). The f*cked part is if you don't like it or sketch out, you'd have to endure the trip for f*cking ages it seems haha; defs would be an experience for sure though. Problem would be also that since everyone would be f*cked, you couldn't really have a responsible mate to help/assist you if you get too f*cked since they'd all be tripping pretty hard... I guess . (I'm a fair pessimist, and will naturally jump to the negatives... sorry... I can't help it)

As for psychedelics I reckon you should only try them if you want a life changing experience. Eating acid or mushrooms for the sole purpose of getting f*cked up is a sure-fire way to a bad trip. These sort of things aren't like weed or alcohol, treat them with respect or they will make you piss.

 

I was going to smoke tonight but for some reason when I got home from work today I started to get chronic nosebleeds. I've never gotten them before, ever, so this is really disturbing. Maybe I should stop sticking crayons up there .

I knew many of the effects and sh*t, and that the trips were fair intense, but people seem to make it out to be really life-changing and sh*t. I kinda don't understand though how you mean "life changing"... as in your views? Or self-perception? Or what? Because I think a lot of crazy sh*t sometimes when I'm stoned that I think is really meaningful... but then will sober up and start thinking straight again. Yet, these feelings/thoughts you get when you're on psycedelics seem to stay with you even after the trip. I guess, really you have to experience it for yourself; but some more explanation would be appreciated.

That's why it's highly recommended to have a trip sitter, especially for your first time. Have someone who is a close friend who will watch you and chill out during your trip.

 

I had a trip sitter my first time and it was helpful. This last time my friends and I were able to handle ourselves without a trip sitter because of the way we handle tripping, how close we are and the fact that we weren't rookies.

See, I think it was because my trip was a bad one that i was pranging out. I was going through some sh*t and i went on Schrooms so i wasnt rezlly in the right frame of mind. But im open to trying it again.

What I don't get is why some of you guys in here get pissed when a f*cker comes in and says "Weed is bad. I don't like it and never will smoke it" but then you turn around and say the same thing about a harder drug, such a cocaine.

 

Sure, you can not want to take it, and say that it isn't for you and you'd rather stick to more natural things. But you shouldn't shoot it down completely and tell others who like it that they are wrong and shouldn't be using it. Especially if you haven't tried it before. That just kind of makes you a hypocrite.

 

Either say it isn't for you, and maybe say why. But leave it at that. Don't tell someone else they shouldn't do it for this and this reason. They know the risks involved usually and it is their choice to do what they do with it.

I have no problems with people who sniff coke as ive done it myself and its great

I'm welding for starters, bending rebar for cement blocks used for construction. Over time is an extra buck fifty an hour if I choose to work more. Around $300-$400 or so a week is the usual for it in the beginning. I don't know how much I'll make a year, since you can advance over the year and make more money, but f*ck man, that's good money for me even for starting.

Weed in liverpool has hit a bit of a roadbump recently, dealers are starting to give you less weed for their money thats why i havent been buying bud much recently, ive just been sticking to hash.

I think allot of crazy sh*t when I'm stoned though, but when it come to psyc's that effect is magnified massively. If you are even slightly uncomfortable with something in your life, say you’re failing school or you just broke up with a gf, that can come back to you on a trip and put you in a negative mind space. Since allot of those drugs make for a very introspective night this can lead to a very...critical...self analysis of your life which isn’t always pleasant.

 

On the other hand, if you get in a positive mind space you probably won't stop smiling/laughing the whole trip, which is awesome fun around good friends.
