You know, I emphasized "idiotic kids" because for most kids it's even a pretty far stretch. In my area, most of the kids I knew grew up knowing older siblings or relatives that smoked pot, and would realize how full of sh*t these commercials are just because they know these people, and see that the bullsh*t in the commercials really doesn't apply to a broad selection of people.

 

I find it kind of offensive that these people are allowed to manipulate the way kids think in this way. They're pretty ineffective at it, but every time I hear some little 14 year old kid at one of my friends house criticize me for smoking weed and then base it off of AboveTheInfluence commercials, I just can't help but think it's wrong for them to do that, especially because the next commercial that usually comes on is a beer commercial attempting to emphasize how cool you are if you drink beer.

 

I want to start up a campaign to offer up kids the cold hard facts and let them decide for themselves. The problem is that kids don't want to research sh*t that heavily. They just want one person to tell them something, and believe it, no problems. Half of them take the word of idiots who tell them how bad it is, and then half of them take the words of idiots who tell them how good it is, and in the end they're all getting a bad result.

She came in here yelling at me that the house smelled like weed because i've been smoking in my room and all that non sense, and she saw the sack of "shake" on my desk along with some nugs and she didn't even take them away or anything, just put them back and left. I think my mom is finally get used to the fact that I smoke weed everyday. She came in here yelling at me that the house smelled like weed because i've been smoking in my room and all that non sense, and she saw the sack of "shake" on my desk along with some nugs and she didn't even take them away or anything, just put them back and left. Didn't yell at me or anything. Today will be a good day.

My parents are pulling almost the same sh*t now. Except they don't get pissed off at me, they just come in my room whenever I'm smoking, and my dad will be like, "Did you guys kill a skunk or are you smoking?" in jest, or my mom will say how good it smells. Quite a 180 from the old days.

My mom knows I smoke, since she found a pipe in my bag a year ago and I've openly admitted it to her. I don't know if she's smelled weed within the past 30 years, however, or if weed smells at all like it did in the 60s and 70s. I would guess not, since one day, I bought a slice of some of the stinkiest weed I've ever had, and put it in like 6 different container under my bed, and went to sleep thinking that would do the job. I get woken up in the morning by my mom, and realize that the entire room f*cking REEKS. She asks me about it, and I just blame it on me having sweat a lot during the night, and she bought that. Which is funny, since when the smell is staring her in the face, she won't recognize it, but, in the past before she became cooler about it, she has freaked out and out of nowhere thought that she smelled weed on some of my friends, when they were completely sober and hadn't smoked in weeks. Still, though, she definitely wouldn't be cool, though, with me smoking every day, which I'm pretty much only able to do when I'm not living at home, anyway.

LOL. I was just talking the other day among my friends how dead skunk actually smells like dank. LOL. be driving down the highway and you poke your head out and you realize it's either you or a skunk out there.

 

Also, with cat piss, I've had people say my room smelled like cat pee, but it was actually this strain I had at the moment called cat piss, It's a californian strain I think, so some of you guys may have heard of it.

 

@ jimmy - yeah dude, my parents have found out about my smokage ever since I started somking weed really. It wasn't until they asked me how often do I smoke and I said everyday, but now they're getting used to it. weird and I'm loving it. The biggest thing is the smell I guess and the fact that smoke travels too all places in the house. I should make some kind of smoke proof room so smoke doesn't travel anywhere. Swallowing smoke is the hardest way in my opinion...

 

Anyone like the satisfaction in knowing that the weed you're smoking was trimmed by yourself? I do.

that sucks.

 

College is to easy right now to have a need to quit. But who knows. Lucky for me, my parents don't know I smoke. I even smoke while at home visiting them, but now it's only usually late late at night, or when everyone is gone. Do it every holiday season! makes them that much better haha.

 

I'm going to go smoke a quick bowl now before heading to a friends to do laundry.

When you're a design-oriented major in college, you can integrate it in, no sweat. I get some of my best ideas when I'm high. Lots of times when I have to do a sh*t-ton of architecture work in a short amount of time, I keep blazing every 2 hours or something and it keeps me happy. But I would never trust myself to write a paper while high, I don't think I could do it.

Haha, I usually kept my smoking to weekends and stuff, but every now and then did it on weekday nights (last year when I was back in high school). I remember, I became really slack with work and deadlines at the end of the previous year, and it just seemed to get worse over my last year.

 

One night, after having a quick toke, I actually decided to start a report for a subject early so I could get it out the way and done with quickly. Not knowing how to start it off earlier when I was sober, I also thought the bud would get my free-thinking going and help me start it off and get the majority of it done. It kinda worked, I got a few words on the page, except I was just talking absolute sh*t. The sh*t didn't make sense, and I just kept going off-topic, speaking in a more real-life conversational tone, and not really covering very well any of the criteria necessary. I looked at it and realised how bad it was, leading to my realisation that homework was impossible for me when stoned. Lucky I don't have homework anymore.

Most of my friends tend to stop around exam times and so i dont have any one o toke with so i generally stop too. But i think smoking regularly during normal college time is fine. Especially with so many free classes what else am i supposed to do??

I'd have given it a try by now if I hadn't heard so many bad things. A lot of my friends have tried those legal highs and apparently they're pathetic. Any effect you'd get from them would be a placebo.

 

Although they'd probably be alright as filler for joints if you didn't have much weed left and wanted to conserve.

Legal alternatives are regularly more expensive than the cost of actual weed and gives you a much different/weaker "high" that lasts a rather short period of time.

Well see, I can't smoke weed due to job UA bullsh*t and it really pisses me off. I have to wait until my training is over for one, and then I have to see how their supposedly "random" UA's go from there. So I've been looking into this legal bud sh*t.

I'm very skeptical this sh*t is any good. But I'm thinking of trying some anyway since it's not too expensive. Half o is only 35 plus shipping bullsh*t for the "Krypto."

 

And then there's this fake "Skunk" for hella expensive. 50 bucks and supposedly gets you high from just a couple hits and lasts for hours? WTF? It just seems like bullsh*t.

 

And of course, Jamaican Haze - Voted #1 Legal Bud in 2007. "These buds are very fresh & sticky." An ounce for 60 bucks.

To be honest, I'd be more worried about taking one of these "legal highs" than I would about taking normal weed anyday. There's some crazy stuff going on here right now with dealers of these herbs spraying them with all sorts of stuff to make them look more authentic - I think Eddie mighta mentioned it a while back. Pretty scary, could be doing anything to you.
