'Tis amazing. After playing Vice City, San An, the Stories series, and countless other PS2 games, I played GTA3 a while back and the old feeling of how sick it was, was still there. Awesome game even after so many years. Finished 100% as well for the first time a couple months ago.

f*ckin oath. I only got into GTA's when number 3 came out. Downloaded the first two on the comp, but I found controlling them on the computer was a bit more difficult, and hence didn't really get into them.

Nah dude I'm from Perth, the foreshore setup for our Aust day fireworks is pretty f*cking sweet, a kilometer or so of grass to sit on to look over the half kilometer or so of water right at the city. They have barges letting off fireworks plus all the skyscrapers.

 

One of the barges caught fire last year and they had to evacuate, it was awesome fun because I was off chops.

Yeah sounds chill. That's kind of our "The Bay" area. One main street down to a massive 'square' that's on the beach. The place gets packed on occasions like New Years. They used to have fireworks and bands and sh*t every new years, but they've cancelled that over the years because everyone gets too rowdy. I've never been out on an Oz day, so not really knowing what to expect... shouldn't dissapoint though.

Fark off, its a mish to get to the foreshore from joondalup. Once we got there like 5 minutes before the fireworks started going off so we just stayed put and got sh*tfaced while everyone proceeded to leave, theres alot more space to f*ck around after the fireworks haha..

On topic - I found out that one of the guys I work with grows his own bud and has been selling ounces to my other workmates for a while, he has just been keeping it on the down low. Now he said he can hook me up which is pretty cool since I have only ever had an ounce hookup once before. I don't usually buy huge amounts of weed because I don't smoke very much. I would mostly buy an ounce to make some extra coin.

 

I just finished watching Superbad again. The first time I saw it at the movies I had way too many cones and snorted some random benzo (bad idea). I passed out not even 15 minutes into the movie. The bit with Seth drawing all the dick's is classic.

Well, i have a lil anecdote for you all today. Yesterday I had about half a bottle of Sky Blue, and another half of some Bacardi Superior & like 3 Blunts back to back.

 

sh*t was outrageous, I couldn't move my body, and I was freakin out, until my friends dad came home, then I did some olympic sh*t, snatched liqour and hurdled some couches n tables.

 

Then we went into my friends car and drove off to Burger King, where we ordered half the menu, but didn't eat none of it, and we left it in burger king, for reasons unknown, But the point of this lil' anecdote is to say we ended up fallin alseep in the parking lot of a children's playground while smoking a black & Mild.

Anyways, I have to ask, has anyone seen the latest "Above the Influence" commercials? Like the one where a a few kids take their prized processions and light them on fire. One kid takes his car and torches it, another takes her honor role crap and burns it, and a third kid takes his guitar and burns it.

 

 

I have to say, it is one of the stupidest sets of commercials I have seen in a while. I mean hell, how many excellent guitar players do you know that DON'T smoke weed? Come on. haha.

 

 

I can't help but laugh at that commercial and think "Wow, how miss informed so many people must be".

 

 

I personally smoke weed regularly (not currently though, unfortunately as I am taking a break while I build a grow box) but I have done so almost daily for a long time and I am always on the deans list every quarter of college. I'm in several honor societies and I drive a car (rather successfully. haha). I just can't see what they are trying to say about weed that is actually true.

 

Anyone able to get a youtube copy of this commercial? All I ever find on there are parodies of them. lol. Which isn't a bad thing.

Eh, I think what they were trying to convey there was that she had passed out or done something embarrassing, and the guy was supposed to be a seemingly attractive one that now didn't think highly of her. It's a pretty stupid f*cking commercial, but I don't think they're suggesting date-rape, after all, who takes a picture of themselves date-raping a girl?

 

 

Anyway, yeah, those commercials certainly are a load of crap. It's just unfortunate that they don't actually target other drugs, however I guess that just reflects the the fact that marijuana is the most commonly used illicit drugs. Even then, they've only focused on alcohol maybe once or twice. It's probably just another one of those companies sponsored and funded by the ONDCP and NIDA under a phony name. I think the last big one of those was Freevibe, but I'm not sure if that was UK based.
