Venom
Could that Chandler beee any funnier. I doubt they'll make any more. Seems pointless, and also seeing how Joey is already into its second series.
Kippers
Joey got cancelled yonks ago. Friends was/still is the funniest comedy on TV. Funny that a Friends topic should be made today, i watched the last episode on TV afew hours ago. Great end to the show. 習うより慣れろ
MMFF
I never got into it when it was still running, but I love watching the reruns now. It is so funny. I wouldn't say it is the funniest though. That would be "That 70s Show"
GentlemanSquid
That's why i made this topic because i just watched the last episode on E4 i just miss all the jokes. Joey was ok but he got smarter on the series which spoils it a bit
Funk3h
yeah, never watched it when it was being aired. It was only when the re-runs where on C4 and E4.

LordDiablo
i found six (that's how many main characters there were right) things wrong with the show. well, five. because jennifer aniston is hot in bruce almighty. otherwise they are all expendable. Crokey
Friends was alright, the only thing in my opinion is that they concentrated so much on Ross and Racheal, OK Jennifer Aniston is tidy but still... In my opinion the only that actually kept Friends going for so long was Matthew Perry and his character of Chandler, Matthew Perry in my opinion is a good comedy actor, see The Whole 9 Yards and The Whole 10 Yards, where he was good, as he was in Studio 60, shame thats going down the pan, damn schedulers. But I actually think they were begining to milk it a little near the end. And I also admit to clapping in my head during the titles
speekers
Damn, Freinds is a great show. I read somewhere around when the show ended, they were going to make a full length movie in theaters. total poppycock.
oipolloi
It's the 90's, drink a load of hooch and vote for Tony Blair! Anyway, we have freeview in my flat and it's almost constantly on one channel. They should just call it the Friends channel... I never realised it was actually funny back in 1998 though, i should have watched it then!
GentlemanSquid
some should make one of those things when people sign it and give it in to the company and they do it, i think its a partition
Tsuroki
some should make one of those things when people sign it and give it in to the company and they do it, i think its a partition ...it's called a petition. And I think it's pretty much safe to say that Friends won't be coming back. Thank god. It was good while it lasted, now go get the boxed sets (10 years worth ffs) and move on. Guglielminpietro
The last 2 or 3 series were so sh*t, just full of recycled ideas. They should have cut that program a lot earlier than they did. It was very funny in its day though. I always found Frasier to be funnier though personally, the other main American comedy of that era. soundcloud.com/TheDamnFineCoats
Crokey
The last 2 or 3 series were so sh*t, just full of recycled ideas. Definitely have to agree with that, for the last season or two, it seemed to be the same thing 'Oh remember when Monica did that thing' <clip from first season> 'Yeah but what about Ross' <clip from second series> 'Then Chandler did that thing with her' <clip from first season> and so on, it seemed like they did that for a whole season and they walked away with $1,000,000 an episode for what was effectively a repeat. Good gig if you can get it I suppose.
Grandthefter
and so on, it seemed like they did that for a whole season and they walked away with $1,000,000 an episode for what was effectively a repeat. I would love that job Anyway, i love friends - but i think its good that its ended now, anymore would be dragging it out. Saying that i'd still watch it and enjoy it if they made one or two more episodes. I'm hoping to buy the full boxset once i have enough spare money lying around - which i dont think i will anytime soon.
WHAT!?
Bleh. My sister was in love with that show. I got a kick out of Joey from time to time. Over all though, it was just something to watch during dinner. I wouldn't care if I never saw it again.
Waddy
Bleh. My sister was in love with that show. I got a kick out of Joey from time to time. Over all though, it was just something to watch during dinner. I wouldn't care if I never saw it again. Joey was pretty good, made me laugh a bit, and I would have hit his sister, dirty bitch. I think they will wait a while and then make a "Where aree they now" special kinda thing, the DVD's still sell like hot cakes, The actors are still rolling in money, so theres no need to waste an opportunity in a few years when they cant even get a job doing commercials. TenaciousD.
The earlier episodes, series 2 and 3 were the best.
Justin
I don't mind it. I like it for its one-liners - Chandler in particular gave me a laugh. The stereotypes of each character worked well, although I agree that it fell off the rails towards the end. It became too much like a soapy and had too many cheap excuses for 'new shows' (as Gareth said). Glad it went when it did, but I do watch the odd show now and then seeing as my sister has the entire series on DVD.
Colanbarry
I watched every episode in work last summer it was quite warm and people didnt seem to be in the shop so i sat and watched. My favorite episode is The one with the embryos as its called where phoebe is being impregnated with her brothers babys and rachael and monica lose their apartment to joey and chandler in the quiz some of the answers to the questions are hilarious. There was talk of them doing a thanksgiving special last year or the year before but jennifer aniston wouldnt do it.
Outcast
i really enjoyed it when i was younger. i have seasons 1 to 10 on DVD and watching it really reminds me of the 90s.
