Getting on to the 2nd island

Can you get there before you unlock it.

 

I have unlocked it before but lost my save data and i cant be botherd playing al the way through again because the story is so dull

 

Has anyone fgured it out yet????.

The only way I know on the PSP version is to do the Taxi Missions then jump the gap on Starfish Island.

Which gap, what amount of taxi missions.....can you give details thanks.

there is also the pipe-teleportation trick at the airport that spawns you inside of leaf links. Go to the pipe at the airport that has a police bribe above it, and jump onto the pipe-it may take a few tries before you actually teleport, but it does work and is probably the easiest method to use. I know, I have done this several times so i know it works. Hope this helps.

It does work, that is how I almost always get to the 2nd island early. And it should work on psp, due to it being a direct port of the ps2 version (or so I read).

I cantfind this pipe anywhere, been loking since i read on a forum about it.

The pipe is by the airport, not in it. There is a small orange type fence around it, a dirt mound in front of it, and there is a police bribe in the air above it. climb the dirt mound and jump toward the back of the pipe.

 

From your 101 bayshore savehouse, take the road next to it and go straight 'til you get to a fork in the road and go to the right. at the next stoplight, go to the right and it should be on your right hand side. (these directions are using the ps2 version, if that matters). Hope this helps.

 

If you look on the first page, I have put down a couple of other methods to get to the other island early if this doesn't work for you.
