Next to no scratches, and its wrecked!!!! (the other 2 had little damage, and have all been new.) crazyanurag Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 i've had two on PS2 and about 3/4 on PC...got the different versions to start with, got a copy from a friend who didn't like the game ( ), etc. my PS2 was pre-ordered in 2000, and those apparently have a lot of issues with scratching/freezing, but mine has worked okay...it's seen better days, but it can run SA no problem...mind you, i haven't been on the console for more than 6 months now... I'ts strange, cos no other game (bar san andreas) has done this (I take real good care of them) And this question shouldn't go here, but is the next gta going to be for the PS2? team17 Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 Hiya I had a disk that was skipping/freezing/locking up something awful.... This was on the old PS2, not slimline.. On the advice of a friend, I cleaned the disk with Brasso, it got rid of a few surface scratches and marks... Result...game now works perfectly... Just thought I'd throw that in... team17 Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 Hiya I also live in the UK, Brasso can be found in most supermarkets or hardware stores... It's not a wood polish, its a metal polish, and it has a slight abrasive action, which is how it took the surface scratches off the disk.... Anyway, it worked...
