is it ok to use cheats or will i not be able to unlock something?

normally, cheats are okay to use, and shouldn't prevent you from completing the game to 100%...however, using any of the 'peds' cheats like "Peds Riot" or "Peds Hate You" and then saving, could prevent you from completing the storyline...if you have to use the peds cheats, make sure that you don't save afterwards...

 

other than that, using cheats is fine...the VC glitch of the game showing 99.47% completion due to excessive cheating doesn't occur on SA...

I'm pretty sure that never occurred on VC either.

you can only get 99.99% in the game...even one cheat and save runes your 100%

if u only got 99.99% y dont u use gs/cb/ar and use the cheat modifer thing were it says how many cheasts uve used and put it to 0

Well every time you use a cheat you lose points towards that "ranking" you get when you pause, so if you want to max that out (I think the top is "King of SA" or similar) then you have to do more plus-point things than minus-point things.

 

I think killing five cops is about enough to cancel out one cheat. Or blow up a couple of cars.

Alper Saracoglu's GTA SA Control Center works with either the patched or un-

patched version of "San Andreas.

 

It features the ability to freeze mission timers that count up (like school

missions use), teleportation to coordinates (Tags, Liberty City, Unique Jumps,

etc.), the ability to make C.J. or any vehicle he's in "Everything-Proof," make

C.J.'s bullets cause one hit kills, spawn vehicles (including the Phoenix, An-

dromeda, any of the three Hotring Racers, S.W.A.T. van, F.B.I. truck, etc.),

assign vehicles to garages, and hotkeys, Stat editing, etc.

 

It also has a "Clear Cheated 'Status' and 'Count'" function on the right side

of the "Vehicle and Game Data" page--it will reset your cheat count to zero.
