Vehicle Damage

The Driver series had great damage, as well as the Burnout series.

Hopefully GTA IV will be the same.

In the  trailer 3 you see crash a police car   and a truck that is bad Vehicle Damage ... i hope realy its beter than that...

The hell?

Thats much better than Saints Row, or any other GTA game you fool. confused.gif

For a little better... not much. Butt we will see in the full game.

Hehe...butt.

Anyway, I hated Saint's Row damage. It wasn't even visible. You could slam into a wall at 100 mph and only break one headlight. How gay.

Even if it's only improved over SA's style a little more, i'll be happy. But I can fully expect to see better damage than that.

Thats tru. That damage in SR is very bad. GTA is much better than that game.

Heh, funny to randomly see one of my old posts back up here. I think the evidence of a fairly dynamic damage modelling system is obvious from the third trailer. It's nice to see that my wish has come true. tounge.gif

Snake Without a Tongue

I thought we all agreed the police car in the third trailer was pre-dented.

Burnout Paradise...

Yes I know it is by EA but what the hell!

It has amazing car deformation!

I've never seen a game where the cars crush enough. 100mph into a wall in Burnout looks less crushed than a 40 mph crash test, and DiRT is hardly better.

From the gameplay vids, it looks like there really isn't much crushage.
