NRG 500 Challenge

Can someone give me tips about winning the NRG 500 challenge in SF ? I've already maxed up my bike skill to full (i'm a bike freak , so most of my travelling is done by bikes) . I always end up with 2 or 3 coronas left and the time is up . Any useful tactics for this challenge ?

 

By the way , in the stadium challenge in SF , I forgot if I have done it or not. But there is a bloodring racer car found infront the stadium . Does it mean I've completed the stadium challenge ?

in one word: practice...you'll have to keep at it till you get it...it's very frustrating, but it can be done...to know how to approach the coronas that are high up, have a look at Plaka's video guide for the mission...

 

also, you might want to try the timer glitch here...once the Challenge starts, go forward to the first corona and wait till the timer reaches 0:00 and simultaneously drive into the corona...if you time it right, the timer will disappear and you'll have an infinite time in which to complete the mission...

yeah, the Bloodring Banger spawn indicates that the mission's been completed...

Any useful tactics for this challenge ?

 

Ride fast and don't fall off.

 

My method is to start at the squared-off end of the dry dock and make several runs toward the rounded end, trying to get at least one corona per run (easy to get a couple per run at first). Then I return to the square end, do a quick 180, and make another run toward the rounded end.

 

I lean forward a bit to ride really fast, especially when returning to the square end.

 

When you are moving forward and then go up the side wall and jump out of the dry dock toward a corona, the bike will go up, but also forward, so you have to start your jump well before you reach the corona you want to hit. Try to work on understanding the angles involved and figue out what direction the bike should be pointing, and what pint to start the climbing of the side wall.

alright guys i've done the nrg 500 challenge . well i made it possible shortly after my post , so thanks anyway for the hints was pretty easy , yeah practice made the understanding of angles better.

 

about the bloodring race , well my stats shows me that my best timing is 1 min. But in the game , it requires 2 mins right ? But I've a bloodring car outside the stadium already , so I'm pretty confused now , can u help me clear my mind with this one?

one minute is required, and the two yellowed bits both indicate that you have indeed passed the bloodring mission.

 

oh, and congrats on the nrg challenge - took me a while too...

oh ok , thanks alot pal am enjoying this game like crazy .. too bad my comp can't read dvd games , if not i could get those skins for the bikes in my game.
