Problem with Carrier interior

Sorry if this has been asked about before, I can't seem to get the search page to work, but there's this one interior on the Aircraft Carrier in San Fierro where the SAM control room is supposed to look like this:

 

 

but instead all I get is this:

 

 

I've tried different ways with the monitor settings and the graphics card settings, an ATI Radeon 9550 256MB, but there hasn't been any difference made, it just makes the game brighter but the area still remains black. I might add though that the rest of the game is okay, it just seems to be this one area.

 

Any ideas of what might be causing it and what I can do to fix it.

hmm... as i can see on the minimap, thats not the same place the first picture shows that u r out in the water and

the second shows that you are on some pier somewhere.

thats might the problem

maybe its an other room 'upper picture'

The first pic is not mine, I used it from a GTA page but the area is of the same place as I have confirmed it with my PS2 version which shows the same palce clearly. There must've been something wrong with the minimap on the game when the pic was taken.
