Cesar Vialpando's Gang

Hey.

 

There is another gang in LS. They have teal bandanas and they hang around in the southern districts. They also appear at the lowrider meeting. So I guess it's Cesar's gang. (I'm not quite sure if they are the same as those hangin around in SF, though).

My problem concerning those people is, that they are pretty agressive and try to shoot me whenever I'm near.

Why do they do this? Actually, they should be allied since Cesar is a good friend of mine.

 

Another question: Are there more different gangs in the PC version of the game than in the PS2 version? I have heard of some more gangs in San Fierro but the only ones I came across are Woozie's people and the ones mentioned above who hang around near the railway station.

Nop, there's no more gangs in a PC version, there's only the Azteca looking San Fierro Rifas, and Triads. In San Fierro of course.

 

And about that why are the Aztecas shooting at you, ask for The_Raven to help you, he may know how to make Aztecas to respect Grove, and Grove the Aztecas.

Now on topic:

I am not sure if that's gonna work, because the Aztecas are included in the MAIN.SCM script and it controls who will they respect after you return to Los Santos and put the Grove on the map again.

If it works I guess it will work till the mission The Green Sabre I am not sure, but it won't hurt if you try.

Now open your "data" folder located in your GTA SA directory and open the "ped.dat" file.

Scroll down and look for these lines:

 

 

GANG2   Hate GANG1 GANG3 GANG4 GANG5 GANG6 GANG7 GANG8 GANG9 GANG10   Respect GANG2

 

 

Replace them with these ones:

 

 

GANG2   Hate GANG1 GANG3 GANG4 GANG5 GANG6 GANG7 GANG9 GANG10   Respect GANG2 GANG8

 

 

This will make Grove Street Families to respect the Varrio Los Aztecas.

Now let's make the Varrio Los Aztecas respect the Grove

In the same file find the following lines:

 

 

GANG8   Hate GANG1 GANG2 GANG3 GANG4 GANG5 GANG6 GANG7 GANG9 GANG10   Respect GANG8

 

 

And replace them with the following:

 

 

GANG8   Hate GANG1 GANG3 GANG4 GANG5 GANG6 GANG7 GANG9 GANG10   Respect GANG8 GANG2

 

 

As I said I am not sure, because they are included in the main script, but it works with other gangs

Erm... one last thing I forgot to mention that you might have to start a new game in order for the changes to take effect.

You can still use your current savegames, but it might not work on them.

what? if you edit the ped.dat file? well, i didn't have to start a new game when i edited it time ago so, that Triads respect Grove, and the other way. Or does it affect differently if you chabge the Aztecas things?

It's necessary with some other .dat files like shopping.dat I have edited it long time ago to make my clothes give me more respect and sex appeal and it didn't work with my current savegames the stats were the same and when I started a new game then the stats boosted

Anyway I hope it will work fine with ped.dat
