Controlling 100% of Gang Turfs impossible?

Hi.

 

I have a problem with conquering all of the 55 turfs (including the one in Bayside).

There are two turfs in Los Santos which are pretty small and thus it's hard to find any Ballas or Vagos there. One is in Jefferson (Ballas) and the other in Los Flores (Vagos).

I have recently caught up a group of four Ballas in Jefferson but there wasn't a gang war after I have shot all of em.

 

Can anyone help me who maybe had the same problem?

 

P.S.: Is there still opposing gangs starting gang wars when you control 100% of the turfs? Because it's gettin pretty annoying in the long run.

Check out the gang territory guide, its very thorough and displays those hard to find territories.

 

Once you have 100% of the turf you wont be attacked or have to defend it again.

Oh yes, thank you for that.

Now I control all territories but one, which is the one owned by the Vagos.

Once, I had the pleasure to find four of dem gangbangers in a group and killed em but the first wave of arriving gang members was too heavy and too nearby.

Now I will spend my time driving around the district and waiting for a second chance.

The reason why it didnt start a gang war is because you have to be in their territory, not the opposite, so if you are not in theres it wont start a war. You can also shoot cars, wich seem to be more plentifull.

the PC version has 53 territories, excluding the ones which go to Los Varrios Aztecas after "Los Desperaos"...

 

both the PC and the PS2 versions are supposed to have an identical number of territories, but the latter may be exploited to have many, many more through the territory glitch...

The best ways I've found to start gang wars in the more difficult areas, like Jefferson and that little Vago square, are:

 

1) Recruit homies, take them to the turf, and let them pull enemy gang members out of their cars so you can shoot them. One thing homies are very good at is seeing enemies in cars.

 

and

 

2) Use a sniper rifle to shoot gang members that are outside of the turf while you are standing in the turf.

 

Remember not to leave the turf in question after you've shot an enemy or two, because you will have to start over and shoot three enemies once you return to the turf.

For the small areas, i do what Mixolydian said. Take homies with you. I usually just drive them around inside the small area and when they start shooting at a car i get in front of it then get out and kill them. Just be sure to always be well inside the purple or yellow area, and not in the green zone.

 

The problem i have with small zones is sometimes the enemy runs too far away and gets stuck inside a fence or in a alley. If i go to get them it says "Get back to the war zone!" and if i dont itll tell me im pitiful and then no one owns the area. It will have no color. lol.

Most times they come back if you wait, but when they get trapped outside the war zone theres nothing you can do.
