Boat catapault + glitch

Ok, i have had GTA:SA on XBox for a few years and every now and then i get bored and play it. And i always seem to find something new.

The other day i got a dingy and was driving it around. I did the tank cheat to spawn a tank and the dingy flew about 100 meters into the air!! I tried with other boats and managed to fling them 1/2 way across the map! . You have to get the speed right, i enter the cheat but make sure i am going at the right speed first. Usually this is not very fast, just fast enough so that when the tank spawns it hits the bow of the boat.

When the boat is thrown across SA, the game keeps flashing loading screens as it tries to keep up (these are black rectangles with the word 'loading' on it, not the black strip at the bottom of the screen that usually appears). Anyway, when i did a dingy catapault once, the loading screen flashed, then the screen blurred like a motion blur that you get when you go fast. I thought, "wow, i must be going fast!" but soon realized that i had crashed the game, because the blurring didn't stop! I paused and everything seemed fine, but when i unpaused it continued. The screen kept blurring with a film exposure effect untill the whole screen was white! I started loaded another game and i thought it had stopped until i replayed and then it started again. The whole boat flinging thing had crashed the game!!

Hey. Nice find!! I tried it on PC SA and it works. I tried this in a squallo and the screen turned white while the "Loading..." sign was lashing.

sweet How far did you get. The furthest i've ever been is from the docks in San Fierro to the bottom of Los Santos! I would have gone further but my boat blew up. I had the 'invincible cars that act like tanks' cheat on but i don't think that affects boats.
