Songs you'd like to see in GTAIV

Brian Forbes

Artist: Sonic Youth - Teen Age Riot (1988)

Probably the finest alternative band to emege from NYC.

Artist: Jeff Buckley - Grace (1994)

He wasn't from NYC but he became part of the scene in the early 90s. Very tragic.

Artist: The Strokes - Hard to Explain (2001)

This video was co-insidentally inspired by Koyaanisqatsi, Jullian Casablancas also just so happens to be related to Fancis Ford Coppola (producer).

Artist: John Lennon - Mind Games (1973)

An NYC icon or sorts. This vid screams New York.

Artist: New York Dolls - Jet Boy (1973)

One of those seminal NYC bands. Also some Lou Reed too but I can't find any of his videos on youtube.

I can't post any music but this is what I would like to hear in gta 4.

Ludacris-get back,2fast2furious,southern hospitality.

50cent-p.i.m.p

DMX-x gonna give it to ya,party up

Missy E.-get your freak on

2pac

Biggy

some rythm and blues

Eminem-kill you,go to sleep bitc*,bully

Battlecry from samurai shamploo.

Jay-z

and some songs from the anime Afro Samurai.

Seems like pretty much people like hiphop and rock.but as someone said above about metal station, it would be cool becouse alot people listen that kind of music.

•Song: *In My Kingdom Cold*

•Artist: *Immortal*

Some guy made music video for this song

•Song: *Trashed Lost & Strungout*

•Artist: *Children of Bodom*

These two are just examples what music i would want to GTA, but i think they dont fit very well. but as PC user i have user track radio so its not really big problem. (just hope there will be user tracks in game bored.gif )

Alot of good music I noticed. colgate.gif

Personally, I think some real Hiphop is whats needed... I would say grandmaster flash, Slick Rick, public enemy...Any one who knows them knows what I'm talkin' bout! But since this is 2007, I think an Oldskool radio set-up would fit nicely...Stemming from Broker or Dukes maybe? I'm british so my knowledge of those areas are limited, but I know the Bronx should have a Hiphop scene in GTA IV...It just needs it.

I'd love to get in a gang dedicated to Graffiti and stuff...But than again Nikko might not.

Come on... I know theres some emo kids out there. What about some MCR, AFI, or HIM. Just please don't try to bring back VRock..

You are using wrong term becouse its not 'emo'(emos are ridiculous), metalhead its right term and in finland(atleast) there is so much ordinary people that like metal music, so its good to have one station.

MischieF.iT

•Song: *Heavy Metal Kings*

•Artist: *Jedi Mind Tricks feat. Ill Bill*

I would like to see underground artists in the game, well under the Rap section anyway, Ill Bill, Necro and Immortal Technique (From NYC) I don't want to see 50 Cent or any of the G-Unit members (Except Mobb Deep and M.O.P)

•Song: Seabeast

•Song: Bury Me In Smoke

•Artist: Down

(I love this song! Plus I was there!! With 80,000 other people!!)

No f...ing Youtube link, and no songs per se as well. Maybe some Sonic Youth, generally more underground, NY-related stuff - the Green Lantern announcement hints that way. In Table Tennis, they used tracks from, what they call, Myspace. Unsigned artists I guess.

Papoose earlier on was a good suggstion, good for someone suggesting Roots Manuva, but they wouldn't do it, I'm pretty sure no one in New York knows that sh*t. More along the lines of:

Terror Squad - Lean Back -Was quite a big song, NYC etc

Timbaland - Give It To Me -Popular this year, quite a catchy tune

KRS One - Sound Of Da Police -This would fit a lot in I think

Not all of these are exactly favourite tunes of mine, but let's be realistic.

For UK hiphop, D.Molish, Farma G - King With No Kingdom - sample goes well with driving in car, dark and grimey, would have to be on a pirate radio show or something, I guess one which plays hiphop from all over the world, Germany, France, Australia etc. Then they could pull it off.

to be honest, I actually think GTA will look for a few rare oddities, they don't want stuff people have been hearing all year anyway, they want unique stuff.

jake whitehead

dont know if this is posted but i would love to see, well actully hear but anyways:
