torino
Im having trouble flying the hydra always. I take the one from my airport in las venturas. I can get it out and all, but i can rarely get it to fly. For me, i can just get it in hover mode. I rarely can get it to fly fast and not constantly hover Do you need to press a button or something? Its been a year since i did the actual hydra mission. its really getting me mad. I put the landing gear up, but still no. Thanks Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/273651-could-use-some-hydra-help-please/ Share on other sites
Shutttlecock?
push the left or right analog stick [i forget which] forward for a little bit and youll notice a slight change in camera angle. torino
i'll try that. I cant stand how slow it goes hovering. Sometimes, i get ultra pi$$ed and press every darn button, and suddenly it goes fast. Mainland Marauder
When you move the right analog up or down you may see the VTOL jets (which should be pointing upward when taking off) on the Hydra. Move the stick up to fly forward quickly. Beware that your plane's nose isn't facing downward and you are not too close to the ground when you do this, or you could hit the ground or a building or something. That could hurt somewhat, so avoid that if possible. Mixolydian
With a little practice, you will be able to take off in hover mode, get a few feet off the ground, rock the plane back (pull back on left stick), reposition the jets (push forward on the right stick), and be flying quickly before the nost of the plane comes back down toward the ground. Cyc2u
When you put the thrusters back all the way the thing can really take off on you especially if running the military race course. I put the thrusters only 1/2 way back when doing the course (45 degree angle) and for even more controlled flight leave the landing gear down. The thrusters are engaged and reset with the secondary forward/backward, or whatever you use to bounce a lowrider up & down, or the keys to do a wheelie or lean forward on a bike. Go0gley
First you got to get as high as you can in hover than push the left thumb stick forward to put the thrusters forward and you should be flying.
