Giving peds weapons

Ive spent the last couple days trying to give peds weapons, Ive tried making them parts of other gangs and tried adding things like

 

set_fatmale01 primary_weapon_to 2

 

but it aint working, Ive tried looking for the code for the cheat WEAPONSFORALL but I can find it has anyone managed to give peds weapons before or know where the WEAPONSFORALL cheat is in main.scm?

Cheats and their effects are hardcoded, so you won't find the code in main.scm.

aww really? lame. Also, how do you make emitters? (like the burning cars at the very beginning of the game and steam coming out of manholes)

 

EDIT: never mind this bit, figured it out. but peds weapons still dont know

Well, you could always use a get_random_ped opcode and loop threw nearby peds, giving_weapons to them.

(mega bump I know) but how do you do this?

 

EDIT: also, is there any way to see the existing code in the .exe so I can mimic it in the main.scm?
