If you're talking about SA:MP then I'd recommend that you have at least reasonable DSL connection (128kbps -> 512kbps) so you aren't laggy.. Regardless, this is the wrong forum for a question such as this. If you're talking about SA:MP then you're best off to ask at the SA:MP forums to get other opinions.
