Voodoo
Forgot to add this earlier. Nate from IGN gets his groove on Mass Effect style. The ending is pretty funny.
TEoS
Yeah so I just got the Sentinel Ally Achievement but not Completionist or Soldier. What is up with this sh*t? I'm running out of sidequests here, haha. Edit: I had given up on these achievements and was about to talk to Anderson at the Flux when I saw some junkie guy by the entrance. Convinced him to stop being a pathetic junkie and I got both of them. What a f*cking relief. Edited December 6, 2007 by TEoS

AlianAnt
Got the game earlier today. Its fantastic, up to the point where on Feroa or whatever its called, one of the first planets you're able to visit, theres this stupid mini game where you have to transfer blocks into one of two different columns, but I have NO idea how it works. Like, I understand the controls, but I have no idea why some blocks can't be moved to certain columns at particular times. I just don't see any pattern. I've tried searching online for an explanation on how it works, but all I get are solutions, and I'd rather figure it out myself. I'm going to take this first solution, but I'm hoping someone here can help me out a bit, just in case I run into the same mini-game. EDIT: And I realize its probably easy as hell, and I know I can only move the top block in each column. So please, please, be gentle. Edited December 8, 2007 by AlianAnt Metal up your ass! Voodoo
Just completed the second playthrough and still haven't got that damn completionist award, how much is 'the majority' of the game? There are 61 total assignments, but 3 of them are reliant on which background you chose for your character. That makes 59 available during any playthrough. You have to do 45 of them to get the achievement. You can check your journal against this list to make sure you have them all. Voodoo
Look in your journal under primary to see what to do. If your game glitched for some reason and the galaxy map isn't working, save and reload (your save, not the auto-save). That will solve any glitch. On the subject of glitches, someone found a funny one with dialog to match: Edited December 9, 2007 by VoodooSlumlord

Go back to the Normandy and get a character with tech skills such as Tali, Garrus or Kaiden and it should work. You need someone with tech skills in your squad if you want to open lockers, safes or terminals.

Medical and first aid skills, however, are cumulative (the sum of the party). I believe I read that somewhere recently.
Slamman
I don't think my friend has it and has not mentioned it so as a PS3 owner, all I hear is alot of graphics buzz, is this game the best 360 game so far, it's exlusive Game of the Year as PS owners are saying about Uncharted? I am not big into one genre and prefer games open up in the sandbox mode of GTA to cover more scale. Opinions on how it relates?

Slamman
I watched the GamesTrailer video review, took some time to load! It looks like it's got alot to promote in the graphics department with regard to xBox 360, but it looks overtly complicated. Seems you guys are happy though, the review said the scope maybe was too wide versus better concentrated. I'm not much for RPGs or Sci-Fi but it looks like you get some interesting results with the paths chosen and the characters developed for a repeat session to outcome differently
outcest
Jesus Christ, kids. This is an insane game. INSANITY. I just finished my first run in about sixteen hours, as a Paragon, just to see the plot, ignoring the majority of sidequests. gonna start a new one as a bad guy, and totally f*ck around the galaxy as a suave galacta-pimp. this means all assignments, all achievements (besides the ones like Lvl 60 that require playing through, like, seven times with one dude) and all dialogue options...gonna be sweet. I don't really know what else to say. I'm a huge console RPG nerd, so this was incredible for moi. The immersive galaxy, the plot (kinda cliche in places, but kept me guessing), and the reaaaal cool characters. Kinda upset over menial things...I would've liked to see more party member-specific sidequests, and maybe more depth to the morality system, but very few complaints here. And also, best endgame to any videogame ever. That entire part, from Ithos onwards was so badass. I felt like a f*cking space Rambo. and using speechcraft to make Serin do a seppeku thing was the icing-totally better than a macho showdown. Great stuff. makes me proud to be gay for Bioware. Boombastic
I'm so getting this when I get my 360. I was channel-hopping on Sky and saw Gamer's TV on Bravo. I watched it and it reviewed Mass Efect. Wow.
