a suggestion for the forum runners..

I have a suggestion for the guys 'n' gals running the GTA Forums, its only a suggestion and NOT a criticism...

 

How about, the next time you set a forum up for another / the next GTA game, be it IV or later, you split the forum into additional categories, one for each platform i.e., PS2, X360, Wii, PS3, PSP etc.. and separate categories for Cheat Device (irrespective of which one) and Non-Cheat Device gameplay..

 

I bet I'm not the only player to get fed up with scrolling through pages of replies which could've been organised SO much better from the outset, especially when the search function isn't working..

 

As I said at the start of this, its just a suggestion..

with respect, when was the last time you checked out the GTA:LCS forum?

 

it's current state of everything all mixed together is what prompted the suggestion..

 

but hey, i come in peace.. i mean u no harm..

 

i'm not looking for a fight or anything but its turning into a genuinely frustrating area when looking for something..

I think the general consensus is that aside from being on different platforms, any console versions of GTA games (i.e. PS2 or XBox) are essentially identical. Usually they're just ports over from one console to the other, and any information discussed about the one can apply equally to the other - the only thing to keep in mind is swap the buttons around so you're not looking for the A button your your PS2 controller... So I'd suggest that the Gameplay forum in particular of the GTA subforums would be worth a read regardless of the individual topic poster's console of preference.

 

That said, I've heard there's more than a few - and often not so subtle - changes between the PS2 and PSP versions of VCS (I've only played the PS2 version myself), so I'd not be surprised if the same is true for LCS. In this case, perhaps an additional forum would be an idea - but then it might be too late seeing as most people's interest has moved on to GTAIV. Depending on the differences between PS3/360's content in GTAIV, I'm sure it's something the staff will consider when more reliable information is revealed (as opposed to the inane repetitive drivel that is presently clogging up the IV forums).

 

The search function should cover you in most instances if it really bothers you, but unfortunately is currently disabled indefinitely.
