TXD conversion

Recommended Posts

The thing is that i have a car, a Ford van. It's made for GTAVC but i want to put it into GTA3. In this case, i have to convert the .TXD file and the .DFF file as well? From what i know, only the textures need to be converted, because the body (dff) remains the same. PLZ HELP!!! rolleyes.gif

The whole lot needs converting.

Best bet is to just steal all the body parts of the van and literally start fresh with getting it in game. Most guaranteed way to work that's for sure.

As for textures, in order to do the conversion properly, you're gonna need to extract all the textures before import anyway. However, I spose you could import the .txd using TXD Workshop then change file type and re-export to save yourself a few minutes making a new .txd file...but not much more than that.

Converting cars, whilst a lot easier than going scratch, isn't a 5 minute job. If you want it done properly you're gonna be looking at a days work.

You can edit your posts as well you know, don't need to double post.
